I did wonder from the very beginning of this whether it would come down to whether or not DK is willing to reach into his pockets w/r/t the coaching staff and anyone the new manager wanted to bring in. Two things always seemed obvious to me:
1. Anyone with anywhere near the kind of prestige we would want to replace Robins is going to want to bring their own people in, absolutely no way they would just blindly agree to work with the people already here.
2. DK is most likely going to be very reluctant to pay additional wages plus whatever compensation any of the coaches who are let go would be entitled to.
I concur with
@SkyBlue_Bear83 that the way forward seems obvious on the surface but this would carry with it the assumption that Lampard, or indeed anyone, would want to work with Carr and Boateng.
Hopefully this gets resolved soon... Pretty bored of the not knowing and just want to move on!
