If he’s clever, which he certainly appears to be, he’ll make reference and give credit to MR and all the work he’s done before him.

He’ll know how bad the reaction to MR being sacked was, so he’ll want to endear himself to fans quickly.
Said exactly the same last night, read the room, be respectful - its an easy opener, to buy a small amount of time.

On Dovin, I remember an interview when Wilson came into the team, saying that some people had come into the squad from abroad and were adjusting. I assumed thst was basically talking about dovin.

He's a young lad in a new country. Just needs some time.

We’ve always scored late goals! Robins teams were famous for it. Robins Time and all that.

You say Adi was keeping everything together, but that just means those that took over from him aren’t. You say on one hand it wasn’t Robins job and it was down to his assistants and coaches then absolve his assistants and coaches of all blame. Make it make sense.
Robins oversees the whole operation. He brought in the coaches to assist him. He obviously thought sacking Adi off and bringing them in would work. It hasn’t.

There is accountability there - I’ve said Delaney and Dempster will probably drop down. Williams will go.

The delay is a crafty move, when Lampard was first favourite I was dead against it, then was excited about the prospect of RVN for no reason at all really, then resigned acceptance that Lampard was inevitable, now I'm at the point I'll be delighted to get a manager and new structure in place and am looking forward to the first JOKE BUT NO, SERIOUS POINT interview. Ol' Doug playing 4D chess with my emotions, what a scoundrel

I agree. Delaney and Dempster back to where they came from and Williams gone. Not sure on Carr and Boeteng though. Difficult decision both morally and financially

Yeah I was thinking about this last night as well. In his first press conference, I think he'll definitely be asked about the strong feelings of MRs dismissal amongst the fan base which is when he'll cover that one off.
