Didn't saddle say sheaf is refusing to play?@Saddlebrains heard anything?
Oh bloody hell, not another booking. Soon, every player is going to end up being suspended. He’s on TV now …. Speaks well on the match and indiv player analysis.
not sure what we can read into him being on TV today. Almost certainly a long standing booking.
Wow just confirmed on tv he’s in talks with a club!
No this was Gimoc.Didn't saddle say sheaf is refusing to play?
Yes mate Coundon Social Club, he’s doing a DJ set next FridayThis true?
No, the guy who knows nothing about football is.
Disagree.Robins and Viveash obviously didn't fit in with Dougs new elite model coaching set up that he's been advised to set up and is the modern way apparently, it's clear to me now.
So why give them both 4 year contracts when he joined?
I'm sure. Who will have the final decision? Mental that people are suggesting the guy who knows nothing about football won't have the ultimate say who is our next manager. It's his toy, he'll do what he wants. It's not just Doug making the decision. Mental that people are suggesting this
This isn’t a John Eustace-type situation. Birmingham we’re actually doing well last season. We’re not and haven’t been a long time. The debate was ‘can Robins turn it around?’The entire EFL is going to laugh as us as we go down just like Brum last season.
So people keep sayingI'm sure. Who will have the final decision? Mental that people are suggesting the guy who knows nothing about football will have the ultimate say who is our next manager. It's his toy, he'll do what he wants.
Of course he was! Surviving shit owners was his superpower.
Looks like he is open to using 5 at back too

Be stupid if it does and it is Lampard as that's one of his main selling points. Will be interesting to see if the "no loans" policy continues when there is a new head coach in place

We can’t say for a fact that the next manager won’t do any better. It’s unlikely but Robins was struggling. I wanted him to turn it around , we should have given him that chance.True. Robins has gone. However, if Robins went due to us languishing at the bottom of the league then there's no point in appointing someone who, based on their previous record, isn't going to significantly improve our position.
Whoever we appoint will be a gamble but at least try and load the odds in our favour.
Alot of the comments from 4 years ago are how everyone expects Frank to go right to the top
Hasn't worked out like that but perhaps the potential is still there.

Lampard isn’t as bad as you’re making out. Not my first choice but we could have worse
Ayari and Binks last seasonHas Doug or Robins ever come out and said there's any suggestion of a no loans policy? Or have we not found a good fit?
I don't think they have, have they?Has Doug or Robins ever come out and said there's any suggestion of a no loans policy? Or have we not found a good fit?
No, you're right, it's never been suggested along with the other "only sign players with sell on value" policyHas Doug or Robins ever come out and said there's any suggestion of a no loans policy? Or have we not found a good fit?

And if it isn't a name but with managerial substance I hope he's a success for all our sakes tooWe'll have to agree to disagree then. I think Lampard is all 'name' without any managerial substance.
If it is him, then I hope I'm wrong and he is a success for all our sakes.
I'm sure in negotiations, this would have been raised. Will be interesting to see if the "no loans" policy continues when there is a new head coach in place
Can’t find any quote to suggest there is. Think it’s based on the assumption we haven’t had any this summer but as you say either they didn’t find a good fit or they pursued permanent signings they thought were better. DK was chairman last year and we had Binks and ayari.Has Doug or Robins ever come out and said there's any suggestion of a no loans policy? Or have we not found a good fit?
Says who? We're changing our coaching setup to be like all the other clubs.
All the other clubs have loan players.
We won't be bothering with them.
