That happens frequently, it's nothing new when a manager is under pressureThe most disappointing thing for me, is that there were rumours about Lampard being thrown around before Robins was sacked. IT's clearly been in the works for a while.
Why?
What's left to be frittered away is far less than has been frittered awayIm not angry. Im disappointed.
Appointing Lampard suggests a lot of worrying things about our owner, not least that he’s advised by Harry fucking Redknapp. I think we’ve fucked it and I think you’d dug into robins out so much you’d have the Andy Thorn scarf out now if he was appointed.
We have the fundamentals of a PO team, we have good form against good teams in recent matches, that’s the base any new manager is starting from.
I’ll judge Lampard at the end of the season if it’s him but I don’t see a top half finish under him as likely and a complete melt down of the changing room attitude a distinct possibility as well as frittering of all our remaining transfer kitty as a distinct possibility.
Shame new show has reviewed badlySeems pretty clear now from all the online reporting that King is being closely advised by Baron Harkonnen and that’s why he’s chosen Fayn-Rautha as the next head coach. Total disaster appointment imo, got an absolutely terrible win ratio when it comes to spice farming and has almost no experience on Arrakis.
Can someone do a tl:dr for those of us working?Watch the video
No problem with that, things obviously changed,@quinn1971, live by the itk sword, die by the itk sword

Sorry I meant of the video. I realise tl:dr wasn’t the correct term and confusing!TLDR - Lampard still not announced as manager. People still arguing / upset about last manager / current candidates.

You're spot on unfortunatelyCan't be arsed to have we actually had any new news or we still arguing over the kid's tweets that changed their mind had way through? The fella that said King was giving him the job due to a rumour he is mates with Redknapp, then said RVN still had a chance and then said RVN had actually been the one to say no all with the space of an hour or so.
Jesus …head coach is just the latest name for manager. Do keep up.When's Lampard worked as a head coach anywhere?
So folk are losing their shite over nothing and theirs no actual news? You're spot on unfortunately

Apparently brought in a lads culture. Lots of drinking, not a lot of discipline. Went into Chelsea with players who couldn’t be arsed and just moaned about them not being arsed rather than you know making them arsed. All suggests someone who can’t get more than the sum of their parts and relies on being mates with players because he’s Frankie Lampard.
Spent £6m on Waghorn, £5m on a player who went straight to L1, loaned in Mount as a cheat code player. Was apparently the start of the slide that saw Derby go broke. Completely fucked the play off final tactically apparently. Derby fans say no they knew from the team sheet and it was so bad there was questions of him throwing the final. No discernible style, just reliant on magic moments from player above the level. As many terrible results as brilliant ones.
I spent about five hours consuming Lampard as a manager content from him and fans and the impression I got was not good at all. His tactics video shows a lower level of tactical understanding than me and I’m a dumbass.
Who in your opinion would look after it ?All the more reason to look after it!
Who in your opinion would look after it ?
Not saying it’s no true but reading the telegraph article and comparing it to what Tom and sky sports have said, it seems it’s way behind where we actually are
CorrectSo folk are losing their shite over nothing and theirs no actual news?
So who then ? Plenty of assumptions being made and no answers. It's easy to sling mud with no suggestion of an alternative. Yes Lampard had some failures as signings but which manager doesn't ? As for loaning superstars , they weren't at the time. He developed young players. So what you're advocating is the opposite of what Cov have done over the last 18 months ( spunking millions ) ?Easy to cherry pick the elements which suit your own argumentSomeone who will rely on tactical knowledge and working with players rather than spunking millions and loaning superstars.
Who is Tom?Not saying it’s no true but reading the telegraph article and comparing it to what Tom and sky sports have said, it seems it’s way behind where we actually are
Which deckhead wrote that? The Deck Times reports Frank has a new deck
In reality we were never going to appoint an elite tactician because they wouldn’t be interested in managing us.Lampard does not fit the brief that King set out. Nothing in his work to date or from what anyone has to say about him to suggest he's an 'elite tactician'. Will be massively disappointed if it's him.

Thanks for sharing, just listening to this now. Interesting that he describes himself as a Coach and not a Manager which is the opposite of how he's been talked about on here.Watch the video
