Despite what some people are saying..

We don’t have to be okay with the sacking of Robins.

We don’t have to agree with the new appointment.

But we do need to get behind whoever the new head coach is for the sake of the team.

As fuckingdumb the sacking of Robins was, we have no choice but to wish him well and move on.

This - whoever is appointed, I don't want fans giving them sh*t game after game, creating a toxic atmosphere, then being up in arms if we get relegated. We've seen what a supportive crowd, and a positive attitude can do; we need to be mindful what the opposite can do.

You spent yesterday calling me drunk. You get what you give. I don’t think calling you a TV fan is comparable tbh.
Your emotionally unstable so I put it down to drink rather than anything more serious.

Apologies if that offended you

People used to rip on me for rating Kompany and hes now at Bayern

Then they tried to make up I loved Enzo simply cos I refused to say she was shit and now he's doing a great job at Chelsea

I'm confident I know more about the sport than you . Just my opinion of course

I’ll be honest you calling anyone emotionally unstable is a sincere dash of irony after some of your tirades on here

dont think it’s undermining robins, im Pretty certain king thought it would just be a smooth transition, replace Lawrence and viveash and somehow robins would just carry on doing what he does, and I’m certain with a couple of more wins we’d be around top 6 and robins would still be here, like I’ve said before king with either turn out to be a genius with what he’s trying to do or absolutely clueless, it’s a bit early to judge
Na.

Frank Lampard as manager? I think the jokey press conferences alone would end up making me want to Talk to Frank hahaha

But on a serious note, I don’t want him here

Lampard is a no from me, we need someone with experience of working with championship players, experience of turning a team around quickly, proven success like a promotion, playoff final, FA cup semi final, building different teams each year. Lampard is none of those. We need someone like, for example, Mark Robins. If DK had Lampard being available as a reason to say MR, it is so wrong.

I will support who ever comes in including Rhys Carr, I really hope he pulls something out of the bag and we beat Sunderland. I will support Lampard but at this time if it’s him I’m underwhelmed

I've always highly rated both of them.
I'll let you off hook cos least your not doubling down

But people do hate that I know about football than most on here. I'm not special. Just obsessed with footy since I was a kid and still to this day watch lots of games from lots of leagues every week. I do it for the love of the game!

You’re aware Lampard got Derby to the play off finals right?!

I agree but also comfortable with letting the players, board, and coaches know we are really not happy with them. I’m happy for them to get a bit of sh*t for 1 or 2 games.

The new manager however is the only innocent party in all this, so he should have our complete support

Of course I do. One playoff final doesn’t match the experience I listed in my post. Lampard has one season and nothing else. If there was he wouldn’t have been unemployed for so long

He got the Chelsea job on the back of his success at Derby. Under a transfer embargo finished 4th utilising their academy other managers failed to do, effectively built the squad that won them the champions league 6 months after he left, kept Everton up whilst dealing with a total basket case club.

This idea that Lampard is just a name under the same Ilk of Rooney is total nonsense.

This idea that MR was untouchable is also total nonsense, Stoke set the tone as to how this season was going, the performance against Derby was the tip of the iceberg.

Never? Even if we suddenly won 8 games in a row?
He won't though, he'll want to spend money. Might get a good run going, guarantee he does more damage to the club with DK in charge.

Spend f*ck load of money, best case, might get the playoffs, stuck where we are, overspent then f*cked again.

He is living off his playing career, world class player. Non league manager.

I see it, he comes in. Does well to start with but achieves f*ck all and leaves us in a worse situation than he started.

If Lampard takes over in 2/3 years time, we will be in a worse situation that we are now. Vault me, I guarantee we will be waged up to the hilt, long contracts for sh*t players.

I would not be happy! The main reason why I can see it happening is that it would quickly deflect away the flak Doug is currently getting.

The BBC would call us "Frank Lampard's Coventry City" - Doug can then slink back and avoid direct contact with the fans.

Alright Mystic Meg, got the lottery numbers for tonight?

Honestly whoever comes in I really hope they turn this shit show of a season around. The egg on people’s faces after this meltdown will be some sight.

I agree. Not sure we could get him. Have a feeling its gonna be Lampard which I.am not unhappy with.

Have a feeling Doug is going for a Head Coach who will get on the grass with the squad and coaching staff.

If he is that great why has he been unemployed for so long

Would that still be true if they've been cooking things up with King for a while? (I have no idea whether that's the case of course)

Yes I’d say so. He still isn’t responsible.

And anyway, Robins admitted that we were talking to him whilst Slade was still manager so it’s fairly common practice

I don’t know, why has Potter and Zidane been unemployed for so long?

Maybe he wants to spend some time with his family and wait for the right job, is that allowed?

Robins was for over a year before joining us
