Im sure this question will be asked tomorrow night and we will be told we prefer to own and develop our own players but there isn’t a ban on loans and we tried to get a couple in but they fell through ….

And the we love doug mob on here will lap it up.
I hope someone points out that the teams that get promoted use loans.

We've got no loans. Its a fact.
The other 23 teams have. It's a fact.

You should get a dictionary and look up the meaning of words before you post them.

You said we won't be bothering with them. Future tense.

You should probably take your own advice.

It's a made up quote as if that's what was decided. It's not a prediction for the future.

And if its not policy and we've failed to recruit one when everyone else has then that's also a huge failure.

So if you made it up, it's not fact is it? It's emotional ranting which is what I said.

It was reported we looked at loans at several points in the window. Whether it was for the forest CB, or a CM.

We lost out on the CB since a permanent offer came in. The CM got injured when they were supposed to come in.

Last year we used loans in Yasin and Binks. I don't believe we wouldn't use loans. Think it's someone's opinion becoming a fact. Maybe we are hesitant to pay wages when we have a limited amount on funds who don't look like they'll make a difference but guarantee you'll see loans under Lampard like we did under Robins (Unless he gets sacked before January)

None of us know, of course, but it just seems a little strange to me that not one single loan has come in. It could of course be that we couldn't find the right player(s).
Also many of us thought that we needed a leader in the side, a player with experience, but we don't know if that was properly addressed, if at all, and that we've been reluctant to pursue any signing that we can't sell on down the line at a profit.
It just seems to me that this all smacks of King's irrational decisions, although I could be completely wrong.

So if you made it up, it's not fact is it?

No, but we've got no loans and we didn't replace the experienced players, what have they got in common?

And if I'm wrong about the loanees, why do you think we haven't got any?

We haven't got any because king has clearly banned any loans, the same as he is writing robins quotes for him.

If that's correct then that's a big recruitment failure in my book. When all other 23 teams managed to secure loan players.

Just watched a clip from yesterday on soccer Saturday, think mersons got it pretty much spot on “ some owners buy football clubs to make it all about them, guarantee they’ll go for a high profile manager like lampard or Robbie Keane, means we’ll be talking about them, like Wayne rooneys Plymouth , adds up, he Demanded that cup run over league, put himself in the team photo and if it is lampard then he’s keeping the club in the media, if he gets us promoted genius if it doesn’t , could turn very nasty for him

Why secure one for the fun of it. If there not going to improve us we are wasting funds and hurting our reputation for clubs sending us players. We have a limited pool of funding, we we're after one who we thought would improve us and it didn't come off thats the game.

You're absolutely insane if you think employees aren't told what to say by clubs media/pr department etc.

There's the famous example of the Everton player who was given a statement to put on social media prefixed with 'just post something like this' and he posted the whole lot including that line.

I also know what happened when Robins went to Huddersfield and its not what he said in the media.

But back on topic, why do you think we've got no loans?

Yeah it is a weird one isn't it. Club photo is neither here or there but think part of his head is raising the clubs profile. Obviously doing this leads to more interest when he sells the club in a couple of years and in the meanwhile higher sponsorship funds like Monzo or Uber Eats.

OK, are you happy we're the only club who failed to find one who could improve us when the other 23 did?

On the loans front. Who did everyone want for the CM role who was available at the time. January will be better for this market IMO. Would go for Tyler Morton from Liverpool

TBH Id have loaned a LWB or a wide/forward player. I don’t think another kid is what we need in the middle.

We didn't fail to find one, we failed to secure one due to a injury. That's life sadly, last year we got one, who just took wages from the club and didn't have a impact.

That's a recruitment failure in my book. And if its true, I seen it on here but never seen it verified, that no team has ever gone up without a loanee then its piss poor.

Spot on, the non playing side is in far better position than its ever been, mainly Down to robins but to be fair to king he’s the reason aswell, just praying he’s got this right else it’s all the hard work un done its a massive moment for the club, no pressure Doug

To be fair Tyler was at Hull last year and was a key player for them if memory serves me right, not a U21 going on loan for the first time. I would understand RWB as we only have one or CB if it was a experienced player but Lwb we have cover for and don't we have enough forwards lol

I mean instead of Bassette/BTA/Rapha in that role. Yeah a RWB too, I just think Robins was never convinced by our LB options.

Yeah, they told him to make up a scenario and situation about what he was thinking when he was interviewing people. A full blown made up story, not a bit of spin.

The test will be in the January window, see what happens.

What's the real reason he went to Huddersfield?

His Huddersfield departure was a made up story.

I think there is absolutely zero chance that the CITY pr team gave Robins a script, or key messages to land And Robins complied even if it was untrue.

MR was always his own man.
