Good signings on the whole?

You reckon? 27yo Waghorn got £5m (granted he was a different player to the one we saw), a Brentford winger for £3m who left for free, and Marriot who is now at Wrexham via Fleetwood aren’t exactly the marquee signings you’d want your club to make.

People are so obsessed with robins we know what the outcome will be.

Achieve success - would have happened anyway

Dont make the play offs - Robins would

Lose in the play offs - with robins we’d be in the premier league

People on here are just embarrassing
That's exactly how it will be.

Wouldn’t mind if we signed Tomori, Mount & Wilson.

Marriott got 13 goals that season and helped them get to the playoff final. He'd also scored 33 the season before in league one.

We'd probably be excited about signing a striker that had scored 33 goals last season.

Waghorn also got 13 goals for him and signed after he'd scored 16 championship goals the previous season.

They are the sort of signings we'd want to be making, it's easy to discount them now based on where they are years later.

You think Man Utd will let Mount go on loan?
…no?

Just pointing out it’s a bit rich to highlight the failures and ignore the successes.

Would be like slating Robins for signing the likes of Hilssner.

Talent identification clearly isn’t going to be his job if he joins us anyway so the point is somewhat moot.

He'll also ignore the fact that they were actually pretty god layers who did well for them and frankly where they are 5 years later has zero to do with how good a signing they were in 2019.

Schmeeeeeeeeeeeeee is a clown who can't pay for a season ticket properly

If Lampard brings Morris with him then I’m happy with the appointment.

Would it be a smart move to delay any managerial change until after the Burnley game? Or do we just want the new guy in ASAP

Sorry Torcho, you wanted Doug to scour Europe for a young tactician, now he’s found ya Robbie xD

Me and my big mouth! Elite coach? Nope. Used to play for CCFC? Yep!

ASAP for me. Give him as long as he can to work with the players and get them used to him and his methods. If that's Frank, then so be it, give him as much time as we can on the training pitch.

Robbie Keane shortening
Inevitable due to RVN being effectively ruled out by the bookies. They don't want anymore money on this book so they are shortening up anyone they think may have a squeak. The traders will have backed all of Lampard RVN & Keane on the exchanges at far bigger prices to ensure a decent profit . Last I saw the over round was a massive 165%.
