That's defiantly going to stop the rumours that they were holding off on Lampard until they got two 'difficult' games out of the way
Think it all depends on the backroom staff announced with Lampard. If it is someone who is with another club could explain the delay

Yeah I'm really excited and can't wait to get started with the lads. No but seriously the defence is absolutely dogshit isn't it.

The longer this shit goes on the more chance a prospective manager starts to think Robins wasn't the issue and that the team is fucked beyond repair.
That’s what the money’s for

Any prospective manager with this attitude wouldn’t last long in football tbh

All the talk tonight on here about needing a CB,LB ,CM as priority in January yet when we were flying last season the team was :
Collins
MvE
Thomas
Kitching
Bidwell
Sheaf
Eccles
Palmer/O'Hare
Wright
Simms
Sakamoto

For me it's glaringly obvious the position we haven't adequately covered ?

We haven’t got 1 good defender, good Luck with that defence frank
Harsh. The defence conceded the 5th or 6th least goals last season and when Robins first switched to 4-2-3-1 the defence looked like our strongest asset.

Instinctually, this points to a fundamental tactical/instruction problem. I do not believe these players are bad.

We can play that team again but Dovin for Collins and Rudoni for Palmer quite easily.

I genuinely believe we’re only 3/4 players off being a top side in this division.

Get a top end CB to shore up the defence, a midfielder who can drive the ball in midfield and a better LB and that sorts out a lot of our issues.

We’ve signed two AMs since then so I’m not sure how many more you think we should sign - the problem is that neither of the new signings are as effective as O’Hare.

“Every game is important, just because the teams below us in the league doesn’t mean we can approach it any differently.
We’ve approached every game as if we’re going to win it and we’ve approached it with the right information with and without the ball and we will do the same against Cardiff.”

Dunno if I’m reading between the lines but the way Carr is speaking it sounds like he is taking the game Saturday? Doesn’t scream something being imminent

He’s talking about the team in general. It reads to me like he’s going to remain as part of the furniture

Not much mate just got the vibe from bottom paragraph on the website that hes gonna take the game

probably reading too much into it
Assuming a manager is announced tomorrow, that only leaves 2 days for a new manager to take the team so it’s not particularly far fetched for Rhys Carr to have 1 more match.

Anything past this weekend and we’re starting to get a bit concerned to be honest.

Badly need a win Saturday

all you need is a couple on the bounce and we’re looking up again

still think these players are better than what they’re showing

I was watching the game with a Burnley fan and he was slightly impressed with us. His dad who was at the game rated MVE and Simms of all players.

It’s been a tough run to be fair. Luton, Derby, Boro, Sunderland, Sheff U and Burnley is a run most teams would come away with less points than our 8 points.

Carrs shown that you don’t have be an “ elite coach “ to do,a good job, not Sure why but he’s getting more out of these players than robins was, wouldn’t be surprised if Carr stays on as coach, lampards only got to come in and tighten the defence up,wer’e top 6 in goals scored, 100% he’ll sort that in January, looking forward to it, he’ll do well for us

Like fine milk
