No, they need to negotiate a long term deal with ACL/? including all football related incomes.
Or, they need to make the same offer as Wasps
A new stadium would kill the club.

Well the last one nearly has.

Will Sandra Garlick be making a statement soon to inform us how she's getting along with the new soft fabrics for stadium La La Land ?
SISU and their sycophants will not rest until their stupid selfish actions put paid to the club once and for all. Trouble is there doesn't appear to be anyone on the horizon on his silver charger to buy the club off the cretins either.

The chargers are usually white. It's the shining armour that's silver.

I'll bow to your superior knowledge there. I know how to spell "horse" and that's about it.

Fair point, actually most 'White' horses though are referred to as 'Grey' ?!

I really do not know what people expect the Council to do, they represent ALL of Coventry no just our fans and how many of them fall within the city.

The Council will do what is in the best interest of the majority and that is not us.

You mean how many of the 9500 that actually go to matches?

Oh No? Perhaps the Wasps might be interested in buying into a football Franchise as well - Would that be better for you than SISU?

I detect a plant...

Are you really that far up sisu's arse that you refuse to recognise the truth. People like you represent what is so wrong with our society, you have your own agenda, and refuse to accept the facts. Thankfully the likes of you and the moron red lies are in a minority. What don't you get about sisu, the fact that they have completely ruined our club, they alone are to blame for our current woes. Why would anybody, with any intelligence, want these sisu parasites to own the Ricoh?
Sisu are not Coventry City, and never will be. Sisu have even publicly stated that they are not interested in purchasing the Ricoh, yet pricks like Reid claim on BBC radio that the council are out to spite sisu, what a clown! Read the judge's summing up after the JR, you just might learn the facts regarding this issue, but then again, you're not interested in the facts are you?
The facts don't fit your warped agenda, do you have shares in sisu, because I really cannot believe that anybody with even a small amount of intelligence, can defend the @@@@s. Or it could just be that you are not very intelligent.

This is not a done deal. The consortium hasnt got all the required finance yet. But if they do, senior councillors and officers want to do the deal.

During the Ricoh return negotiations and related conversations sisu were adamant they were going to build a new stadium, said they had no interest in buying the Ricoh and only wanted a short-term rental deal.

Well that is the opposite of what our Tim said - October 2013

Fisher added “plan B” of returning to the council-owned Ricoh Arena could only happen with a stadium sale to bring in vital club revenue from the stadium, not with club returning as tenants.

None of that really matters does it? That SISU are to blame for where we are now is indisputable. What is at stake here is the future of our club with and (hopefully) without SISU. Like it or not, the council's current actions could well engineer a situation where nobody will be willing to take the club off SISU's hands.

This is not about SISU anymore. It is about CCFC - this city's biggest civic asset. That should be foremost in the minds of our elected representatives when they vote next week.

Agreed, we should wait and see what the offer is first, it just might be beneficial to CCFC.
with sisu I see no hope, with new owners there will be hope.
