As the crow flies, The Hawthorns is actually closer to Villa Park than St Andrew’s is

found that out the other day
Villa Park, St Andrews and the Bescott are all closer to the Hawthorns than Molineux is.

The black country has no formal definition and I've heard previously that the entire city of Wolverhampton is not in it.

Thankfully I'm not a brummie like you so can plead ignorance

What’s being a brummie got to do with the Black Country? You DO know they’re two totally different things don’t you?

They're bordering places, there is no real distinction between the West of Birmingham and all of the Black Country, there is no equivalent to the Meridian Gap
