It does show what some owner funding investment in January could have achieved. We’ve lost a lot of games against teams we could have beaten and rather like the championship relegation season it’s a missed opportunity

I’m not sure it that helpful either than Gyokeres seems to be delivering a 10 out of 10 performance

100% correct. Given our position in January, the window was a once-only golden opportunity.

This performance confirms that.

Sheaf has always been better with a run of games. If you drop him then he's always shaky the first couple

You're turning into Victor Meldrew G

We could have capitalised on a position in the league we were in.

you want the owners to maximise opportunities sorry this is a missed opportunity this season which may never happen again

Apart from Liverpool, who did have a good January window?
We brought in Bidwell who is doing ok on balance

He cost us £1m. If you flip him in a summer for £10m and then bring in another 5 for a mil with wages covered then you fill out a championship squad. It’s how Brentford managed it.

Our owners would probably pocket half though and expect the recruitment team to pull off another miracle.

Yep, I understand and don’t disagree with the theory, but of the big three, those are the two I wouldn’t want to do that with.
