Not bad for someone who doesn't have a hard punch ;)

Wasn't a knockout though was it?

Wonder how long they can keep AJ hiding from him.
Depends how much they think they beed him as champion. The politics in boxing is shite. But now they might see Fury as a massive money spinner. If so the fight will be arranged ASAP or AJ dodges the fight.

Really impressed, a great performance from Fury. Wilder looked in danger of real injury is team were right to chuck it in. Wouldn’t surprise me if he declines the rematch option after that.

AJ won’t fancy him at all.

So let me guess. Fury won and stopped someone who had never lost before because he doesn't hit hard enough?

Like I said yesterday. If the fight would have continued it would have been a knockout. But fights are stopped these days instead of someone getting knocked out cold or worse.

Didn’t watch the fight live but watched highlights this morning - did the stoppage not come a bit early? Landed a couple of big shots but the guard was still up.

Watched it on YouTube this morning.

Great fight by Fury and executed his game plan superbly. Also managed to get through a couple of decent rights as well.

Have to say thought the stoppage was a bit early and if it was the other way around I wouldn’t have been happy.

Fury also schools Joshua.

I haven't seen the fight but from the write up i can see i was completely wrong in thinking he wouldn't or couldn't change his style. Sounds like a very, very impressive performance from Fury.

I read that a few people thought Wilder had a busted ear drum and that completely threw his balance off, the bbc is reporting a cut inside his ear though? Anybody get a clearer picture from watching the fight?

No idea but blood was oozing out of it during the fight.

I’m no massive boxing expert but surely you have to say Fury is the most talented U.K. boxer in a long, long time- coming from nowhere to draw with & then humble the world champ & heaviest puncher in the world... what he just did there is incredible.

Happy to be a few quid down, what a performance - we have a great word champion there

Great performance.
Love it when a boxer beats a puncher.
Wilder didn't have a proper answer so his corner saved him serious damage.

Only thing stopping Fury is himself.
Don't be surprised if the AJ fight is soon. Managers know they need to keep Fury interested and not let him wander (see the wallin fight).

Good well earned result. Boxed clever from start to finish, always in control. Doesn’t need a big right with a jab like that, devastating. If he keeps doing what he’s done for this fight he’ll beat everyone and anyone. Manny Stewart must be looking down very proudly at the moment. The great Kronk Gym name is alive and well.

Missed the fight turned on the radio just after it had finished. What a great win for Fury. Sounds as If he dominated the fight, and won convincingly.

He was ragging him around like a wet tracksuit. If the fight would've continued Wilder wouldn't have been out of hospital after his checks.

Thought exactly the same when that one-two landed that dropped him first. Very Lennox-esque.

Wilder's corner threw the towel in because Fury was inflicting so much damage on Wilder and he had no answer.

Before the final round his trainer was literally mopping up blood from Wilder's mouth and ear while he just sat in a daze.

It was the humane thing to do. Massive respect to Wilder for the heart he showed though. I don't think that man would ever knowingly quit.

Yeah he looked majorly fucked up then, stopping it was the right thing to do to avoid him getting seriously hurt.

He was getting picked off and pummelled from the 5th. Fury too big and powerful for them to let Wilder hang in and maybe get lucky.

Watched a sort-of rerun on YouTube so didn’t see/hear any of the corner stuff.

Great strength from Fury and Wilder was like an amateur or made to look like one, he had no ring craft or skills at all, just hoping to land that big one, he didn’t aim to do anything different from the first fight. He would be mad to take the rematch apart from the money in his pocket

Wilder blaming his ring entrance and wants the rematch.
He was lucky to get a draw first fight, not even close in the 2nd.
Fury's got his number. Wilder going to have massively improve his boxing to get even close.
Only chance is if Fury gets bored/restless and doesn't train properly - unlikely.

Hate it when boxers whip the excuses out. That’s the worst one I’ve heard for a while. Better off keeping quiet.

See, I could see that happening. I got the result badly wrong for the last one, but you always get the feeling Fury's one fight away from just disappearing over the abyss as his demons catch up with him.

Guess that's also what goes into making him watchable, mind you!
