This is brilliant.....

"With Regards to Scott Dann, I think he will play at the next world cup for England"

Scott Dann has been unlucky with everyone he's signed for since leaving us, glad he's back in the Prem, he's of the right age now to consistently perform.

In fairness he has been a consistent performer at all his clubs.

Newcastle fans knowledgable about what? I was friends with a fan when at Uni and went to some games with him. Racist, homophobic, sexist.

Who told you this - the same source that said Westwood was bought for £250,000?

Stop talking shit.
You had a friend?
You are the one spewing shit as usual, with your pathetic bigoted generalisations. Why don't you just piss off, sad little twat. University? Oh dear.

You don't know what a university is?

I saw them in the 80's in away ends. How many times have you seen them at away grounds and stood with them?

Fucking hell mate how long ago was that?

Was it when most football fans thought that way?

Sorry just read this reply

So it was in the 80's well 99.9% of grounds were like that back then even the hallowed ground the West End stood on....

Newcastle have said Bigi can leave now and they are actively looking for a move. How long before we're linked with him?

What a waste, and shows we made a good decision to let him go for that price.

Never saw what all the fuss was about. OK he was quite good but no better or worse than a lot of others in the past.

I'm sure the CT are working on their "Five Things We Learnt About Bigi" article already...

We'd need to Bournemouth oligarch to afford the £25 million transfer fee.

Thought I was the only one. Was very average IMO think his back story acted in his favour and added to his 'potential'.

Yes he was and is very average even for League One.

Disagree i thoight he had a lot to offer. He was in great form when we sold him, the only question would have been whether that was sustainable (and giving his current form that is probably a 'no')

I think I read hepatitis somewhere although it was probably a rumour. Its a shame as he could have been a decent player and started very well for them. It should be a lesson to any youngster that they are better off staying put for a year or two and getting some experience under their belts.

Classic case of a step too far too soon, Maddison take note, Brigiramana should have gone to top championship club from here had a season or two first team football then stepped up to the Prem, happening a lot nowadays. If your career stands still in pro football it's so difficult to get it going again.!

What sort of money would a player like Bigi be on at Newcastle?

I guess its hard to turn down a move to a 'big' club as a youngster and we know agents aren't going to be the ones to step in and advise caution.

Unless this rules change to stop the bigger clubs sweeping up all the prospects in the hope one or two come off this problem isn't going away.

Absolutely. Another season or so with us would have done him the world of good. He promised a lot and I think had the potential to deliver. Prem football at that stage was just too much for him...not consistent enough ...then time on bench, reserves and little else. Before you know it you are the forgotten man. Very difficult to get back in the limelight then

I was the same-didn't see what all the fuss was about! At the time something new, enthusiastic and different. One in the long line of them who flatter to deceive and then sink without a trace.

He's probably earned about £3m out if it though......

so even if he never plays again, & assuming hes not been a total twat & spunked the lot on Ferraris & rolex , he & his family should be set for life.....

...not bad for a league 1 plodder....

I'm guessing around that....it was a 5 year deal & Newcastle pay big wages....

I'd imagine there are very few top flight players that have arrived at their new club for a fee yet earn less than £10K/week.

That's the thing with Maddison any sense tells you play 2 seasons at this level near enough 100 pro games under your belt by 20/21 tear this league up show you're too good get all the hype Dele Ali got, along with a more physical education go away stronger from the experience of playing against brutes on big heaps.
Surely only money would/will stop that which In the case of a lot of youngsters wins!

I hope for JM & CCFC's sake in this it doesn't! Most of us missed out on Wilson's season it would be nice to see a couple of years out of Maddison.

Could he be the player with premier league and Championship experience begging to come to the club? ;)
