This person is clearly an arsehole. It’s possible to have sympathy with a specific cause while acknowledging individuals like this are the wrong side of the line.

Nice whataboutery though. Are you in support of the rioters from a self proclaimed Nazi group attacking hotels?

Unlike you I'm not in support of any rioters..

Out of interest, which group is it attacking hotels?

I’m not supporting rioters.

Good. You agree that the BLM riots, the Jew hate marches, the Leeds riots, the Manchester police station riots are all wrong?

I suspect there will be hundreds of knocks on doors in the next couple of days. No doubt lots of blubbering 'hard men' in court bleating about 'out of character'.
Hopefully they get the far right cowards organising much of this as well.
Severe organised violence against the police will see some banged up for five years+.
Good.

No it doesn't.

If you want to apply for asylum here, you obtain a tourist visa, buy a plane ticket, and then apply at the border. That website ignores that option for some reason
Not sure this is as easy as you're making it out to be.

Currently one of the biggest groups of asylum seekers, at least from the latest figures I can find, are Syrian.

Now lets supposed some has fled Syria and has all their documentation with them, they also have a working bank card with a bank that is operational and they have money in their account. If they are able to complete the online application do you think if they turn up at their screening it is going to be believed they're popping over for a holiday?

How would obtaining a tourist visa by deception impact any future asylum application?
If it was that easy wouldn't the government be broadcasting this all over calais. You'd stop the boats in an instant if you told people they could get a visa and book a £50 EasyJet flight.

That is one person appearing to do a Nazi salute

One

If that IS him doing a Nazi salute, then he is far right.

Where are the rest of the people doing the Nazi salute there?

As the PM just said, joining those people means you're aligning yourself with them.

Or do you disagree with him?

BBC reporting that a crowd of around 200 Asian men charged a police line in Bolton with chants of Allahu Akbar 🥴
Not going to help things at all and you have to hope this isn't repeated elsewhere. Has to be expected thought I guess. If you're seeing footage of people being attacked for being the wrong colour there will be people who respond even when it's going to make things worse.

Hoping the weather breaks and we get a day or two of torrential rain, might not put an end to it but might help.

Do we have a closed border with Syria?

Anyone throwing the straight arm whether its this bloke on a Hamas march or the rioters at Bolton is a c**t.

Seems an unequivocal, easily understandable, straightforward position - the Sieg Heil is fucking repulsive in any situation by anyone.
I condemn it at any march, yet the response is.....

"Nazi salutes are fine when I agree with the ends"

Can you agree people doing Nazi salutes are far right instead of changing topic?

Yes, absolutely.

Do you agree that everyone who does Nazi's salutes are far right?

Do you also agree that not everyone in the same crowd is a Nazi? (or do you think all the pro Hamas lot are Nazi's?)

Been out for a few hours and catching up on this thread is thoroughly depressing. The amount of whataboutary and attempts to political point score while the country literarily burns and innocent people, not to mention the police, are being attacked is sad to see.

Its sad that peoples legitimate concerns have been ignored for 20 years

I'm not really sure why anyone is surprised

Again, if he is making a Nazi salute, same thing

Is there video footage? Always easy to make a photo look like something to meet someone's ends.

Seen so many photos where it looks like someone has made a Nazi salute and it hasn't been the case

And once again anyway, where is the rioting in that photo?

That's just a march isn't it? No-one has any problem with a march. I

It's wanton violence, attacks and rioting that's the problem.

He was talking about rioters.

Where is the rioting in that photo?
No, he specifically mentioned Nazi salutes

In terms of rioting, what is your definition? I would consider it criminal damage. Would you agree?

Funny thing is, it's a very good point about if people have issues when there are other riots.

The hypocrisy from some is fucking embarrassing and strangely they are the people who keep shouting the loudest, unable to actually have a discussion and just want to live in a little bubble. Using their weird phrases and blowing smoke up each other's arses.

They don't even realise it. Just change the demographic of people committing offenses or rioting and strangely, they go from end of the spectrum to the other.

Absolutely no interest in constructive discussions.

I’m not playing your games because you want to run interference for people fighting the police and trying to attack migrants and randoms.

No. Criminal damage in itself is not necessarily rioting is it. Obviously.

Criminal damage happens all the time.

You are going completely off topic and trying to point score.

Starmer said rioters and violent acts and people aligning themselves with them.

Nick the king of tiresome whataboutery.
Condemn what's going on right here and now.

Not really as the situations or damage caused are remotely equivalent.
