Farage on LBC. Peddling usual bullshit, "nothing to do with me. No one follows me. I don't fan the flames".

Blamed police for not releasing name/ethnicity of Southport murderer.

Obsessed like those on here about a two-tier policing.

Disgusting individual.

He could’ve easily played a blinder as well. Come out with a video immediately pleading for calm, saying violence is never the solution, voting Reform is, be part of the movement we’re listening when nobody else is, sign up 💰 and we’ll sort it blah blah. Massive missed opportunity from their perspective especially on the back of election momentum

There's hope then. I want to see that little shit on the ANPR THIS illegal electric bike in front of the beak in short order too.

I doubt he's escaped plod's notice. I think he might be looking for new wheels after a little breather in youth custody when they catch up with him. And they will, these types are too stupid to not get caught at some point.

I want to see number plates on all electric bikes. Nothing to do with the riots they're a menace and if they knock into someone old they simply disappear without recourse.

Never happen though as they are illegal on the public highway, aren't they?

Not to get sidetracked, but there are two types of electric bikes. The legal ones, that fat knackers like me would use. They're limited to about 15 mph then the motor kicks out. That's not much quicker than an average bike in truth.

Then there are electric bikes that are far higher powered. Technically, these are motorbikes, and much favoured by drug dealers and the like. (At least they're going green I suppose).

By law, those ones are supposed to be registered if used on the road, but the shady fuckers that buy and sell them, don't do that of course. There's something that could be tightened up...

genuine question but the guy who was attacked outside the pub, how come they put it down as violent disorder and not racially motivated??

I suppose the argument is, if it was racially motivated, why didn't they attack everyone else in the pub? Were they chanting, we hate whites/christians, or fuck the EDL? There's a difference.

I also think racially motivated is a higher bar (and gets a longer sentence).

It's obvious if you're attacking mosques, less so if you're attacking pubs. I'm not justifying it by the way, not for a minute. Those lads need to go away for a long time too. And if found, they will.

Isn't he right about not releasing the name of the Southport attacker? I'm pretty sure they were bound law not to release his name so not sure a criticism of the police is right but it needed someone higher up to step in sooner.

Not many can disagree that not releasing the name and the subsequent speculation did increasingly more damage.

There is a question of what we’d do in a hypothetical scenario where we hand out more prison sentences than we have places. ‘You can’t put us all in a cell’ and all that

We've still got that barge, haven't we? 🙂

But yes, I'd guess that some current offenders are going to get out a bit earlier than they might've done. That's going to upset the far right.

Not really. They weren't law bound as he was underage, at the time, but the Judge released his name although in law he didnt have to. And his name/ethnicity was known before the violence over the weekend, so where's the excuse for that?

If he'd been an Asian looking bloke do you think he'd have been attacked and kicked by the mob?

Went on my daily walk and some nice interactions with random people. There are good people in world important to remember that. These idiots are the minority.

Gonna TRY duck out of this thread for a bit. Notice mental health taken a dip last few days as I redownloaded twitter to keep up with riots and now my feed is non stop bullshit and I started watching the news again. Also this place just arguing. Even if your right hate and anger don't make you happy!

Peace brothers from different mothers.

I think as he is under 18 it takes a crown court to remove the restrictions which is what happened, it's just it takes time to get to a crown court

They'll likely tack the hate crime on later

Maybe, but I'd guess you wouldn't want to risk a certain conviction for an uncertain one if it's borderline.

Attacking mosques and spraying racist graffiti on the hotel you're trying to burn down though, that's an open goal.

Been told I have to work from home tomorrow (sorry Malc) as busses have been cancelled due to a planned meet up at an immigration lawyers.

Probably not, but if you're pitching it as a racist hate crime, why didn't they go after every white bloke in the pub?

Have you seen the full video, it looks like the bloke (who is the only one visible outside the pub) is waving his arms around and shouting at the arseholes outside.

Maybe he was asking them to go away politely, who knows. Either way he didn't deserve a kicking, but it's telling that the whole pub wasn't turned over.

Do you think the far right fuckers would have been as discerning if they got into a mosque or hotel.

Either way, if you're trying for the "two tier" bollocks again, try harder. Prosecuting for violent disorder is an entirely justifiable approach in this instance.

The irony being that these arseholes might yet get football postponed for their racist song and dance
If that happens I'm rioting. Do what you like but leave football alone. Bad enough being postponed when Diana or the Queen died.

I did read but I don’t know for sure if it’s true but part of parliamentary privilege is having access to that type of information.

The charge being that as an MP he was in a position to find out the answers to the questions he went on line saying it was right to ask so all he had to do was ask, instead he went on line and wound the rabble up bating them.

They couldn't get in the pub as they had barricaded the doors.

Hopefully they get caught and punished.

Let me know where you're meeting, mate. Hands off our football!

And remember, no face, no case. 😁

(I'm wearing trainers though. I don't have to outrun the police dog, I just have to outrun you.)

Calm down.
Yes I have seen the full video and in my opinion the answer to my question is no.
My opinion. Your opinion.
