I'm not sure he's saying it was him though?

Although he said "It's a hoax" and is now saying "it's not a hoax and the person who did it is dangerous".

You would think he is top of the targets as well for spreading lies?
He's not, they have though given the police the details of who did this

Again, much like saying a Muslim woman was attacked with acid?
And? We are talking about the list and Gimoc saying it was really made by the head of Hope Not Hate.

Gimoc countering claims he spread misinformation with more misinformation,

That is the point

I think it was reported having come up in court.

Have you got a link?

I can see:

"In his police interview, Drummond said he "believed his behaviour was appalling" and accepted the footage showed his behaviour. Drummond has 14 previous convictions for 19 offences between December 1988 and January 2007."

"This includes “a past history of violence”, including three months at Preston Crown Court in 1994 for wounding without intent. He was also fined for a public order offence in 1995."

I am not saying you are wrong, just asking where that was said and that it might be dangerous to banning people for racism based on what they hear online?

It really wouldn't be surprising if it was made by somebody like that.

He should be on the arrest list along with others spinning stuff on the other side.

He has admitted it was a hoax but also said he has given the name of the person to the police. If he knew so much, why didn't he tell them it was a hoax?

Not one takes Hope not hate seriously. Well no one who's not already quite far down a rabbit hole.

I get that, Starmer said he's going after people misinforming and he has done a lot of that to stir up trouble.

Of course, if Patriot765445 with 7 followers was spreading lies then find them too.

Plenty of people are on banning orders without having been to prison. I’m not sure why people feel the need to connect the two things. Any club should have the right to refuse his business based on his history. I’d even have a duty of care to other fans. I’m not suggesting indefinite bans, except maybe that 58 year old, there seems to be more than enough evidence that that is just who he is.
Banning orders for football offences and football related though, not spent custodial sentences. You can't make up your own rules simply because you dont like the narrative. I want them banned too, but that's not how a fair society works and you're bending the rules to suit your agenda.

It's really strange round here, the same folk normally pushing for this kind of thing, when it doesnt suit and you point out the hypocrisy (on both sides yes), never say 'actually you're right I agree' or 'I've changed my mind' simply radio silence or doubling down.

Then he should go after this tool as well i suppose, but is misinformation a crime? I'm pretty sure its not. Seems like a scare tactic.

tbf I thought I was sort of agreeing with your general point and we were having a nice civilised chat😁

All for rehabilitation, former racists are welcome at CCFC as an example to us all.

Only thing is I dont want to welcome them. I'm actually ok with the banning orders but what I do want is consistency and that would be unfair on those as in Nicksar's example of someone who has genuinely been rehabilitated. Unfortunately I think most of the time rehabilitation is a myth and they just learn new tricks and have no intention of bettering themselves or society.

Labour showing their true colours

2 tier again

There's been a lot of the edl, neo Nazis, the "fash" etc spread and whipped. The only mention of edl has been from what you would call "the left".

Weird how he gets an applause for suggesting cutting women and children's throats though. It looks like he's a labour councillor too.

It will be interesting to see the people who are charged with the race crimes (like the hotel fire).

Can anybody actually say how many mosques were actually attacked other than Southport?

I would (maybe naively!) suggest racism is something that can change as a view through time.

Unfortunately of course, non racists can also become racists!

You think he's a member of the Labour party?

Do you think anyone who is on the left in "Labour party"? I have big shock for you.

It looks like he is unless it's a deep fake and it isn't really him on their website?

He's also guilty of misleading and whipping up anger and hate.

Not sure I agree with non-racists becoming racist, I think it must have always been there and now showing true colours.

What I do think happens is people see all the things happening (Gillingham, Manchester, Southport, Leeds) and some of the more moderate are brainwashed by the misinformation and get taken along with the tide. I doubt some of those are racist but believe what they've been told and are unnecessarily angry at perceived unfairness.

on the topic of misformation

all the meltdowns on here yesterday about last night was going to be full of right wing thugs
turns out your hero made it up

2tier at it finest again
He didn't make the list up. He said it was made up. A bit like you did with the Southport murderer. Said he was a Muslim asylum seeker who came in on a boat last summer, didn't you?

Isn't tarring everybody with the same brush the exact thing you are moaning about?

Baffling.
How have you read that I to my comment? I'm simply saying they are a small minority but you can't pick them out of a crowd easily. I'll close this point as a bit pointless.

Interesting to see you reaction to it being a labour bloke in front of a crowd inciting hate and calling on women and children being killed.

"Oh well, meanwhile what are the far right bots online saying"
Interesting? I am quite happy with him being expelled if it is him.

I'm also quite happy with the police taking action.

Isn't this the "whataboutery" that people hate?

It really is like covid all over again.

Its a generalisation.

Bit like saying that Muslims are suicide bombers because a minority are? Is that ok?

Yeah it's interesting because it's what's been happening over the last few days.

People have been whipped up to be scared of masses of neo Nazis roaming the streets.
