Yeah it's interesting because it's what's been happening over the last few days.

People have been whipped up to be scared of masses of neo Nazis roaming the streets.
Ok, not sure what that has to with my "reaction".

But okay, if you say so.

He’s a councillor for Labour
If that's genuine and he has said those things. He should be charged and put behind bars for a bit. ANY form of extremism is a crime and creates more division. Don't think anyone on here disagrees and no one sympathises with these idiots. Wish I could say on here no one sympsthises with Tate/StephenYaxley-Lennon or Lee Anderson, with their incitement.

I guess the punishment should be based on if she conspired and planned for it for a reason compared to if she copied and pasted it and posted it like millions of others.

If it's found that it was a plot done on purpose then 100%.

Aren't you just making more things up based on fuck all?

Its amazing if you dig into where the majority of misinformation and hate has been on this thread.

You have to be pretty stupid to think nick lowles is a wrong un so I'm going to support robinson. Especially if that support extends to helping finance his luxury medditeranean holidays
Honestly i think highlighting crazies from the 'other side' is a pretty common way to pull people further down their overly online political rabbit holes.

Exactly! People bang on about him so much but some will actually do his marketing for him.

Wait, I thought people hated "whataboutery"?

Amazing how people are trying to use it now a labour councillor and a leader of a charity with hundreds of thousands of followers on Twitter have been found out.

"Cut the throats of the women and children"
"Yeah but dave653466 with union jacks retweeted something"

Its fucking hilarious how people can't see it.

depends who delivering the message

look at the labour councillor above

is that a good message to be spreading?
Surely, you will have to post something from far-right agitators for "balance" on here? You'll have plenty of material to choose from.

It is massively hypocritical. They’ll be going back to stirring up people like GIMOC in a few days with the endless anti-immigrant rhetoric.
Well, that won't be hard.

Only thing is I dont want to welcome them. I'm actually ok with the banning orders but what I do want is consistency and that would be unfair on those as in Nicksar's example of someone who has genuinely been rehabilitated. Unfortunately I think most of the time rehabilitation is a myth and they just learn new tricks and have no intention of bettering themselves or society.
Funnily enough Rob I've been digging deep into my memory and recall another lad I used to play football with,he went to prison for a shortish sentence and when he came out he did a degree and had a long career as a probation officer.
Also in the last job I had prior to retirement my manager (who was a decent bloke, from Leamington as it happens) surprised me once by telling me he had been to prison for robbing a post office.
Obviously a very small sample but a lot of people can go on to be decent citizens after serving time in prison.
Hopefully some of the young Neds that have been nicked will learn the error of their ways after serving a bit of time in prison.👍

answer the question without deflecting.

is an anti-racism message a bad thing?
Depends on the message. Doesn't it?

I could say I'm delivering an anti racism message but say something completely different.

I'm not sure "free Palestine" or "from the river to the sea" is an anti racism message.

Small point but this deluded and dangerous individual never said cut the throats of women and children!

I’m not on about that, I’m asking if- in general- an anti-racism message is a bad thing to be disseminating.

The past 24 hours has been like it was all set up from the start

social media needs banning (because they don’t agree with musk)

the cynic in me could think the government made up this list of ‘100’ protests

spread the word knowing it was fake

Right wing centre and left wing corporate media editors appear to have received orders from the powers

In the meantime you had a Manchester policeman looking to be held hostage

He isn't saying to cut the throats of women and children.

"We have got children and women using those trends during the summer holidays.

They are disgusting nazi facists and we need to cut their throats and get rid of them all"

That's what is said on the video. Maybe he's just worded it badly.

Watching it. If somebody has edited it and cut bits out then it's an amazing job. Not impossible but a very, very good job of doing it.
