So level or one vote out is a Diane Abbott? :wideyed:
Saying that those putting it together should have done better. But we know where we are when some make 1 vote out of many such a big deal.
A Tory spending spree is a tax cut. Part of their offer will be to give what they should have done years ago. Pay freezes finished. Benefit freezes finished.
This is what worries me if Labour get in and McDonnell going on a major spending spree. When the Tories get back in it would be time to pay for the spending spree. More cuts. Tax brought back down so more cuts again. More NHS cuts.
It won't bother me hopefully as I will be gone. But we all know how bad the austerity years are. And I have kids and grandkids that will still be here. I might be leaving the UK but it will still be my home. I will get to more football games than now. Not working but close to airports that will get me to Birmingham quicker than I can get there now from where I live.
The idea is correct in principle. Just the normal way the Tories will push bullshit in their push for votes. But while they thought they were being clever they were not clever enough.I thought that at first, but the idea of halving the vote is wrong. As the article says the Tories grew their vote in 2017 beyond what the difference with Labour was and still lost.

100 votes behind. 50 votes taken off them leaves them level and not ahead like they said. But taking 51 votes off them makes all the difference. That is 2 ahead and not level.
Don't worry. The worse bullshit is still to come. This was a simple mistake. The lies will start soon.
IIRC Labour is 25b a year borrowing. McDonnell wants to spend hundreds of billions. That is a lot of money to raise from extra tax. This is the big worry of mine. Brown did it last time with the pension obliteration. It has affected everyone with a pension. I'm hoping that there isn't another hidden tax. And whatever your views are on Labour you can't say that you know it won't happen again. We didn't have a clue what Brown had planned. Nothing was said until it was implemented. The Tories have made several changes to pensions. But for once they affect the rich only. Both parties have the same golden rule: no current deficit. (Match day to day spending with income). Both are planning to borrow huge amounts for capital expenditure.
Maybe look at what’s actually being said rather than relying on a heuristic that’s isn’t even correct but was closest in the 70s.
Could be a big mistake by Labour. Kicking him out for being on the side of the electorate. 78% of the vote last time and now standing as independent Labour.

Just when you think the tories couldn’t fuck up the first few days of their campaign anymore labour seem to manage to make an equal mistake right after (both having candidates pull out overnight due to controversial remarks in the pat).
Both our main parties are full of rot and need a huge clear out. Or maybe both need to split into two smaller parties rather than keep purging their moderates.

I don't listen?I swear you don’t read what you reply to.
Both the Tories and Labour are excluding capital spending from the deficit. Why are you linking the hundreds of billions of spending to tax increases when that’s not how they will be paid for?
Simple question: do you think the richest in this country (people and companies) pay enough tax? Does Amazon pay enough? Starbucks? Google?
Smaller parties are no better. UKIP/BXP candidates fall like flies. Lib Dem’s have their share of mentals. Greens are all mental.
The problem is only those who are a bit weird commit to local party politics and the normies stay away. We need more political engagement at all levels if we want better politicians.
What a scruffy looking twat.CALLING THE POPPY POLICE! REES-MOGG DISRESPECTS WAR DEAD BY PINNING POPPY TO HIS COCK.
(This is satire before someone jumps on me. I honestly couldn’t give a shit and just thought it was funny)
He said you don’t READ. Talk about proving the point.I don't listen?
He is a politician. Of course he gets paid for chatting shite. They all do.
Is this Idiot paid to talk shite for a living??? How many times does it have to be said that the USA do no want our NHS or anything from it.... more scare tactics

Sounds like a good idea. The benchmark for someone like the Lib Dems. But they are never sure which side of the line to go. Because they can never keep to the middle.Maybe you’re right. There’s certainly a problem somewhere. My thought on smaller parties was just that the tories need to purge the ERG and Labour need to split into Corbynites and something closer to the centre.

Im a bit of an outlier here I accept. But I don’t want bespoke parties for every man and his dog. Same as I don’t actually want PR. I like compromise and acceptance that you can’t have it all your own way in a democracy.
Trump: 'NHS on the table in US-UK trade deal'
They clearly do want it. And as for “why don’t you trust lying liar Boris Johnson??” Hmmm, let me think:

Look at my previous Video i just put on the thread, your happy to vote for someone like that?
So when Parliament reconvenes after the GE and the SNP MP’s start tabling bills to bring in the law that protects the NHS from Trump are you fully expecting the Tories to support them?

The one full of half truths and exaggerations? Yeah why not?
I’ve said before I don’t share Corbyns views on all foreign policy but we don’t live in a dictatorship despite Johnson’s efforts and I don’t think most of the LP share them. He’s naive to always believe the underdog and he’s been part of the left that picks the underdogs regardless. I suspect since he’s been in Privy Council he’s had his eyes opened as most radicals who get into power do.
What are you scared of exactly?
How did he pass his vetting for security clearance?Corbyn is a danger to this country's security

Goodbye LabourSo Zarah Sultana is indeed the candidate for Coventry South
Surely then the fact our security services can be bought off by an old bloke on his allotment is more of a worry for a security fan like you?
By the way, what are your thoughts on Johnson’s links with the Russian mafia that the security services were worried about? Or his sitting on a report into Russian meddling in our elections? You know, the Russians that have actually done things on our soil in recent times.
What about the FBI investigation into Farage? Or Aaron Banks links with Russian mafia? Or the fact the Tories sold off our power and telecoms infrastructure to the Chinese?
I mean, you don’t just pretend to be concerned about national security for political points scoring do you?
