What an embarrassing climb down for Farage. Surely that’s him done with politics now, even his most ardent supporters will struggle to not see through this.

Jo Swinson and Caroline Lucas legitimised this action - Swinson now is tweeting away squeaking it’s not fair which even my her own standards is laughable - it seems they will still be standing in key marginals so I don’t really see what’s actually the plan
She'll scweem and scweem and scweem...Swinson at it again.... everything is unfair to her!! Even if leave won again it would still be unfair
She's an idiot

So who pays the debt that we run up? Yes the next generations.
We have growth. We are not in recession....at the moment. Money needs to be spent in the right way. Putting future generations hundreds of billions in debt isn't a wise idea. You mentioned debt to GDP. So how good would it be if we took it to the max then have a recession?
Remoaners will be out now crying I love it,Bring it on!!!:woot::shamefullyembarrased:

What about people who want to consider other issues besides brexit or are we planning on ignoring every other issue in the next parliment?Brexit Party now seem to have launched a tactical voting app in the constituencies they are contesting which advise if to vote Brexit Party or Tory
Apparently Stoke a huge leave area the app advises not to vote for the Brexit candidate but Tory. It’s calculating likely areas where labour have a strong leave element and in those to vote Brexit Party

I can kind of agree with that, but 2017 was his high - he'd run a dynamic and positive campaign, and increased his party's share of the vote after years of decline.Wether I like him or not is irrelevant to this point, but I think the smear job done on corbyn for the last few years will be too much to see him ever gain power, he could and should have stepped down in 2017, if Labour lose which I think they will, that's another wasted few years when they should have been putting together a strong opposition
Depends. Could still see the opposition vote split, to Labour's advantage.Problems are growing for Labour now tbh, can see them getting a real hiding in some key areas
Keep dreamingDepends. Could still see the opposition vote split, to Labour's advantage.

Thats the danger for leave isn't it. As Brexit Party haven't pulled out completely you're now going to get situations like this which will boost the incumbent, in this case Labour.

Instead of the Convervatives needing to overcome a 7,650 deficit Brexit Party, lets assume thier votes are roughly equitable to UKIP, will need to overcome a 17,168 deficit.

It's the procrastination in between elections wot does for him.
Well its what his buddy Trump wanted him to do and Trump doesn't do anything that isn't to his own personal advantage. Sure the peerage he was offered to drop out of those seats didn't cross his mind when making the choice.I wouldn't guarantee it. But he must be getting something from it - why the sudden turn around to get a deal he apparently doesn't want? I'm sure there's more to this than we're hearing - he can't have just given up now after all those years.
