Surely if there really is no appetite for a second referendum, then having one, with the same margin of victory for stay in the UK as before, would genuinely put it to bed, finish the SNP, and allow Labour to reclaim seats they need if they're to bid for power?

Labour are finished as a major force up there-the Scottish left is largely (but not totally) pro independence and the pro UK vote is mostly Tory and Lib Dem. If there is no appetite for another vote why let Sturgeon call the shots? Why give her a free pass on deflecting from her party’s record?

Right, you've gone past here as you've quoted a post after, so clearly still want to try the smug little dig despite it being completely wrong,

Actually re-reading, I heard him on Radio 5, so he's clearly been doing the rounds.

Bet he got an easier time on the telly ;)

I’m sure he gave straight answers on the main questions asked about the NHS unless I didn’t hear right.
But if it’s not the answer you want to hear then pretend it didn’t happen.

No I was pointing out that he categorically said that drug prices won’t increase and that they would not allow us involvement in the nhs. Straight answers which I know is unusual in this day and age but it was clear as day.
the exact opposite of not answering questions.

Ah, the nuanced, well thought out and reasoned arguments put forward by Dom again I see.

And none of the others. So that means if it's not the right answer for you, they didn't happen.
To be fair I didn’t go through 28 pages of ‘he said, she said’. i picked up on something you said that was incorrect. If you watched bbc breakfast as you did you know he was clear and precise on the NHS.

My response to you quoted the follow-up post (which was immediately above one you then responded to anyway, and only just below the initial one) and you still persisted!

Nick! If I quote my own posts do they go invisible to Eastwoodsdustman?!? Or has he a script that allows him to selectively ignore?

Still got you're head in the clouds dreamer?

Nope. Feet firmly on the ground awaiting manifestos to make a decision on who to vote for. Not cutting and pasting meme's and regurgitating taglines and phrases lifted direct from the right-wing press.

Anyway, I'd rather my head in the clouds than in the sand.

Rees-Mogg forced to apologise for comments made about Grenfell. tbf, there's a reality TV programme to be had where he moves into one of the tower blocks in Hillfields or Spon End, and is left there to bond with the locals...

I see no deal is back on the table as the Tories say they won’t extend the transitional period. Looks like the disaster capitalist that have backed Boris will get their no deal brexit at the expense of everyone else afterall.
