Think his partner withdrew her " evidence " or whatever the legal terms is.I'm confused by your comment. Charges dropped means a prosecution is not likely. We don't accuse and then trial by public opinion.
fucks sake, only 10 days to get some business over the line.City playing Getafe on the 19th of July, kick off 7pm.
again, we can all acuse someone, does not mean there is guilt. Your information is based on press releases, not the best source of evidence, so try and be less introspective.Who dropped them though? I can accuse based on seeing the publicly available evidence. If you want to ignore that then that says a lot about you tbh

It is based on more than press releases, as many have mentioned on here. We get it you want to defend a rapist. Just expect people to call that ridiculous opinion out.again, we can all acuse someone, does not mean there is guilt. Hold on, all the charges were dropped. This suggest not enough evidence to go to trial. It is one of those he said, she said cases isn't it?
Yes he spoiled his copy book, but as with Ched Evans he must be allowed to continue his career without fear of retribution. I'm sure United felt he besmirched the club, and fell victim to contract stipulations as you are a player and representative of the football club. Not a great look for Utd, so out the door he goes. But he is entitled to get his career back on track, and as it stands Utd are about to cash in by some 27m. Good luck to the young man and I hope he has learned a lesson, and Marseille benefit from his services.
Where is this footage if it's in the public domain? You have a link? You obviously didn't see the leaked footage of him beating her, whilst she's begging him to stop, but he carries on. It was harrowing stuck. He basically paid her off, that's why it was dropped. The guys complete and utter scum

If you’re going to try and speak on a subject as authoritatively as you have done in this thread I’d suggest having done some basic fucking research in case you end up making a fool of yourself. Just a word of advice.Where is this footage if it's in the public domain? You have a link?

He didn't pay her off, they are still together and have a young family. It's a strange situation to be sure and he has never really given his side of the story. Some saying it was role play but the video was pretty damming from what I could see.You obviously didn't see the leaked footage of him beating her, whilst she's begging him to stop, but he carries on. 100% this.Charges were dropped because the only witness stopped co-operating with the investigation. As is often the case in cases of domestic violence there isn’t much the police can do when the victim doesn’t co-operate with the prosecution. The evidence against him was made public and is extremely damning. The fact it wasn’t enough for criminal charges is more a depressing indictment of how little protection our criminal justice system offers to women who face violence from their intimate partners. To wish him the best of luck is disgusting and highly embarrassing.
I've heard the voice note. This is first tive heard of any video footage though I must admitHe didn't pay her off, they are still together and have a young family. Yes I’m just down the coast, they are putting out heat warnings at the moment, it really isn’t playing football weather…they ought to make it a big game of water polo37-39 degrees out there today.
5 women murdered in Spain in domestic violence cases last weekend alone…..Probably a good job they won the football, it could have been worse100% this.
Fucking weird to “wish him luck”. So many misogynistic twats out there in the woodwork
I do think some of the comments on here about the alleged victim in question being trapped or paid off a little disrespectful to her. I'm not sure there is any evidence to support that.Doesn't mean he didn't beat the sh*t out of her and sexually assault her. It's sadly not rare for people to be trapped in an abusive relationship.
Fair play for not being a hypocrite. Unfortunately I can't claim the same. Whilst I detest what Greenwood did, I was there to cheer all of Marlon's goals and I know how abhorrent his behaviour, but I think he's one of the best footballers to pay for City since our prem days. I hate that I have such double standards, but I'd be lying if I said differently.I do think some of the comments on here about the alleged victim in question being trapped or paid off a little disrespectful to her. She is aware of the full facts and appears to have forgiven him. She has made her life choices and unless anyone knows differently she appears at this time to be a happy, young mother and Greenwood is at least in public acting like a devoted father/partner. He was young, sometimes people do stupid things, let's hope he has learnt from this experience. I wish her and her family all the best.
N.B. before anyone accuses me of being an apologist I pretty much boycotted 2010 because the idea of cheering when that guy scored made me want to.

*edit, can't stand Lee Hughes and glad we never signed Luke McCormick who was a local lad. Not saying I'd support Greenwood if he played for us either, but I definitely did Marlon and so did most at the ground despite what they might say now.
