Not sure if I'm reading into it too much as this thread has made me aware of the festival a bit more, but there seems to be loads of people online moaning about their experiences. People were rude, mass overcrowding, sound quality shit. Etc etc.

Can't say I'm surprised at all.

Whenever I've been theres been one thing I could never say and that's that people were rude but it's another trait that seems to be permeating society. I know it makes me sound old, (I am!), but civility costs nothing.

I went last year and it was a brilliant experience.

Overcrowding is always a problem if everyone decides to go to the same stage but there are also plenty of places to get away from things if you want.

It seems they had a few issues this year which I'm sure they'll try and learn from.

I was one of the wankers who snuck in when the fences came down (2000ish) and the amount of people there on that Saturday night was crazy.

Never experienced anything like it!

Never been to a music festival but financed my eldest daughter's festival "pop up" hair salon for a summer (never knew or thought they were a thing).
Also lent my Cabanon tent to my Son for Glastonbury a few years ago which was returned with a hole cut in the roof because "it was hot".

Glastonbury……elitist, pretentious and smug.
I’ve been many times, and it’s just a great festival to be at (usually) with so much going on. I’m not any of those things, well, maybe a bit smug if you haven’t been… ;)

My missus went in a pop up salon years ago, and it was weird how clean it was considering it was one of the wettest festivals. She thought it was nice to take her wellies off and be somewhere clean for a bit
