This is an interesting concept and i wonder if i drove a Russian tank to the Polish border and crossed half way over so the gun was in Poland but not the back end, would N.A.T.O take that as an invasion of Poland or not.
Depends. Would your tank driver’s licence be Russian or Polish?

It would save a lot of discussion/anger/debate etc. if the EFL put out all GLT decisions out on official social media channels as soon as they happen. They’ve nothing to hide - the technology is excellent and rarely fails. If it does, they are better off admitting it and trying to make sure it doesn’t happen again. You simply cannot tell from the iFollow grabs.

Ah yes cuz this angle is so much better than the technology or angle from side on where it clearly isn’t full ball over the line. How are we this far in and people still not accepting it didn’t go in?! People really do believe what they want to believe.

I've never really been in an argument with David O'Day before and think people take it too far with the stuff they say about him, but maybe I was wrong. Lunatic.

Wow etc

Hello, hello, Hill's is back, hello hello.

Clearer picture. The trouble is, to state the obvious, the ball is round so in the absence of using a tee square to check the centre of the ball with the goal line, in my view it's a clear goal.

If you use that photo you are assuming the ball is on the ground and i suspect it is off the the ground at the time of capture which isn't giving you the true picture

the ball was on the ground (could see from tv) the issue is the overhang of the part of the ball not on the ground, where around 1cm overhung the virtual line (not necessarily the actual line)

that doesn't mean that photo shown earlier in this thread had the ball on the ground, big assumptions are being made about a still photo from an acute angle i have seen the photo from the goal line technology which showed the ball didn't fully cross the line albeit by millimetres. Unless the technology is wrong then it didn't cross the line

Seen from above which is where the Hawkeye is, there is overlap of the ball on the line so no goal. They were still cheating fuckers tho and don’t get me started on the fucking ref

Something difference the player in the net is interfering with play. I know he cannot help it at first but he clearly puts his head back to prevent it going any further into the net . if a player standing on the sideline knocks the ball ball back into play it is deemed to have crossed the line and a throw in is given. Where is the difference?

Have you seen the actual photo used by Hawkeye, not the mock up shown on Quest?

There’s an echo in here. However, on the extended highlights it shows what is described as the goal decision point, which is just before the defender clears the ball. That is too late in the incident, I would like to see where the ball was when it hit the grounded defenders back.

We were abysmal, however 3 penalty shouts and a potential goal not given did contribute to the outcome.

What they showed on Quest was the Hawkeye image. That’s the furthest it was over the line. It wasn’t in. JFC.

Because we are trying to work out whether the ball was over the line or not.
Why? When we all know it wasn’t.
Some people on here last night have made themselves look like right tits!

It would have counted if the earth was flat.
Maybe that explains some of the conspiracy theorists that are afraid to change their minds. (The earth is round by the way)
