He’s in form which we need. 15+ and we’ve got out of him what’s needed in the division. With O hare chipping in and maybe Walker when he gets going we’ll be fine. After 2 games we have scored 4 and conceded 4. The creativity and goals are there but we need to shore up at the back

I remember him, cost a club record £10000 from Peterborough, at the time he was the biggest name centre-forward in the then third division .

As soon as you bring another strikers name into it you look like you’re making background political points, but you compare a) his all round ability and b) his goal record to other fan favourite strikers and its genuinely remarkable how criminally underrated or at least under appreciated he is
