His last minute winner against Bristol at home when we were down to 10 men was one of my best moments supporting the club. It really showed the spirit and connection with the team and the fans. I've got goosebumps typing this just thinking about it.
Agree.
That was my lads first ever game, and mine and daughters first one back after the exile in Birmingham. Took my old man as well.

gave us the bug back that match. Incredible game and atmosphere at final whistle.

I've seen evidence that when we were at our lowest Rich was even buying the lucozade sports, water, footballs etc for training. The hotel stays and coach fees for away days. A chef so the players could eat at Ryton. Amongst a myriad of other things, that you would think were basics as a professional football club, that without him we wouldn't have survived. Quite literally wouldn't have got games on without his cash

Also Paid for the pitch at the start of 22/23 (Hyam was sold to pay the tax bill)

And Il be careful how I word it because unsure if it's meant to be known, but Mattys words of saying 'none of this would have been possible without Rich' are true. Matty Godden playing for Coventry City quite literally doesn't happen without Overson if you're with me
What an embarrassing shitshow we had for owners not so long ago

He did not pay for the pitch, that is 100% not true.

Well, at least it’s an easy song to replace.

My granddaughters favourite city player, think it’s probably down to his song, but insisted on having his name and number on her kit!
Was a great servant to the club, not a great season last year but I have some great memories thanks in no small part to ‘Super Matty Godden’ s contribution over the last few years.

Great signing, was a finisher when we hadn't had one for a while and a major part of our resurgence these last few years.
Wish him all the best, if they put the right players around him then he will bang them in for them.

I've seen the documents bro. Either that or Dale Evans has a major PDF faking rival

What motive would someone have showing you they do you think?

What he has done as a player, is clearly inform us that we owe this Richard Overson guy a lot more than any of us knew.
And I am inclined to believe a statement from Godden on leaving, more than anything I hear 2nd hand on here.

Are third parties allowed to directly pay for players? Hopefully Godden hasn't dropped us in the shit on his way out 😂

It’s only third party ownership that’s outlawed. Would imagine if he wanted to make a donation/sponsorship gesture to the club then he can.

Richard overson is a fantastic bloke , has helped out the club financially in its darkest times and always has time to stop and chat 👍

I don't doubt it but the club has now moved on.
A true gift is a gift, I don't understand why some want him turned into some guru I should worship?

I am still waiting for you to provide the so called evidence on RO paying for pitch. Just in case you have forgotten

I'm obviously not going to am I it's someone else's documents to share.

You want to post your bank statements on here? Ridiculous request, if you choose not to believe me I'm fine with it, but ask yourself why players like Godden, and Vik in his leaving video last year, thank Overson personally, alongside Robins always waxing lyrical about him

What's the issue ? Man helped fund academy and training facilities and much more , never asked for a penny back and you've got a weird gripe about it .. you don't need to say anything ?
Any idea if he's on this forum?
