Good: 'Promotion contenders' Leicester lost again.
Bad: They got beat by Bristol. City drop to 2nd from bottom.

I think Leicester needs to buy a few more players or they will struggle all season.
Leicester fans must be fuming, even planning a massive protest to out their owners.
Two home games - both lost to very average teams.
Oh dear.

Hopefully Sven and the owners will leave, they will go int admin (again) and the 10 point deduction keeps us up :)

On the other board - back when it worked - I had a quite heated discussion with Hackneyfox when Sven was revealed as their new manager. Well, so far I haven't been wrong abouth the swedish playboy.

They have paid 10m to be rubbish. It's cost us fook all.
I do believe tho that if thorn had 10m to spend he would spend wiser then Sven. They have brought average players at best.
Promotion??? No chance!!!

What if AT used a few bobs on having a tactical consultant sitting high in the stands. With 10 min left on the clock and we're winning 1-0 the tactical guy could maybe call AT and suggest he put a seasoned defender on the pich instead of a tired striker. He could even suggest the defender was used solely to mark out the opposition playmaker.

I really do believe if AT had 10m to spend he would do a good job and wed be at the other end of the table, wonder if incester do a swap of oweners for a season lol.

Only 3 teams remain unbeaten in the league after just 3 games!
To think that both promoted sides are the top two and Derby who have done little since last season in 3rd must prove this is a league which has a Lot of sorting out to do and we are by no means out of any mix based on what's going on currently.

Middelsbrough and Milwall are unbeaten still.

It did give me a good chuckle tonight to see they have lost again. Off subject here but we've not looked too bad in the extended highlights on sky blue player. Couple of terrible blunders by Murphy which is worrying.

Leicester have payed a lot of money for over rated players

Nugent - shite
Danns - shite
St Ledger - shite (why people rate this guy I never know)
Mills - decent, but 5mill?? Nah

I see we could be bottom after 5 p.m. Saturday.

Anyone know the last time we found ourselves languishing in last place?

We haven't tried that before, but they say there's a first time for everything :D.

Anyway - after three games back in season 2005/06 we were third from bottom. That season we ended up in 8th place.

What we would give for likes of hutch and Wise now.... I said Leicester would struggle for a while as when they beat us their players celebrated like the League was won already, reminded me of us at Stockport.

Many of the teams just above us have played 2 home games to our 1 home game. At this stage of the season, the table gives a false indication. Wait till 10 games have been played for a true perspective. (Yep, we'll still be bottom unless we bring in more players!)

Please tell me we did so with 3 17 year olds in the first team!!

Not quite, but we did have Andrew Wingh and a younger Isac Osborne ... oh and Ben Turner made his debut.
It was the season we drafted in old man Wise to save us. I think he was on a free transfer (so this season has all the ingredients to duplicate 05/06).
