I was referring to this thread, and the article written. There's nothing in it that would make me "more" anti SISU. It's stuff we all know, and I suspect nearly all of it true. Whatever has been left out, and for whatever reason, it will not have any effect on me, and I suspect most everyone else, except the knuckle-draggers you often highlight on farcebook. And the only effect on them is to spout off the same BS that they usually do.

I just don't see it as anything to get excited about

Read the threads. It really isn't hard, its just showing you haven't seen them or are playing dumb.
Which threads?

They aren't hard to find, I'm sure you have posted on them.

Let's face it, you know the exact ones I'm referring to and are playing dumb

That's a key point. People have said before that there needs to be some 'myth busting' done as too many people believe things that are incorrect to be fact. Was suggested the trust were well positioned to do it as a prelude to pressuring all sides.

What we see is the opposite. It's a case of confirmation bias. The Johnson piece being discussed here is a prime example.

What effect do you think "myth busting" would have on the "lack of thinking" brigade? Any?

You've just posted exactly what I was going to post, OSB.

There's absolutely no correlation to be found between David Johnson's post and nonsense tweets by so called fans, who like you say, put two and two together and come up with a conspiracy theory.

Johnson is an idiot. He uses the Jimmy Hill Way as his mouthpiece which appears to have as many members as the Tooting Popular Front. He peddles all sorts of nonsense and we'd be better without his "involvement" at all

To everyone with half a brain cell.

To me a see it as a win/win.

1. Legal challenge dropped - Wasps agree to work with the club and we negotiate a long term deal at the Rioch.

2. Legal challenge dropped - Wasps still don't agree to work with us, we all go full throttle on Wasps and the council and cause a disruption to Wasps games (that can simply be full on encouragement for spectators to boycott Wasps)

Sorry its naive nonsense. Wasps would once again offer the "deal" which they have already offered the club who would turn it down. Wasps would claim its a fantastic deal and everyone would lap it up

I have a very horrible suspicion where this is being planned on ending up

Go on...

Well you have to be careful how you phrase it but my suspicion is that there are a group of people who lets say are very confident they can do a deal with Wasps to stay at the Ricoh if the current club go under and another is formed with a few well known faces on the Board

Do you mean people from the Trust?

Well done for looking into the future and knowing exactly what will happen.

It's called free speech.
I don't see that much wrong with this article at all. It's his opinion and a lot of it is indeed a great historical breakdown of statements.

I expect your suspicions are accurate. Maybe a better option than we have now ?
Do not think JE would be involved though !

If (if!) true, it would genuinely worry me choosing to start at the Ricoh at a low level. That would suggest politics (small p) would have overtaken business acumen.

I haven't dipped into that thread and I don't think I will bother.

I can guess the drift of it all and just assume it will have turned into yet another online row.

Do I get a cigar?

That may be so.

However, it doesn't make his article wrong in this particular case. Most of it is Gilbert rehashed, and you could get nearly all of it off the threads in here anyway I would guess.

Yep, but it's nice to see it all compiled in one article.

Oh, i thought the way you worded the post I got the impression that you had some knowledge to support your suspicions. I take it that’s not the case then?

Well look at the people involved may give you a clue

Putting your opinion of Mr Johnson to one side, what do you disagree or believe not to be factually accurate within his article.

I don't think an idiot could put together an article like that, if you think you can do something that is as comprehensive yet more accurate and illuminating then maybe you could share your considered thoughts with this forum. Even a few paragraphs which illustrate how the JHW article is in some way nonsensical would be worthwhile as an exercise to prove your credibility on this matter.

Tbf to him when questioned on Twitter he is balanced in his responses, it's unfair to call him odious for his opinions even if they might be disagreeable to some.

It isn't about what's in the article it's more what isn't. It presents a slanted view but that's to be expected as the article is about putting the onus on SISU to sort the mess out. It's a case for the prosecution if you like.

Well let’s start at the top - who is THJW?

As for credibility on this forum let’s be honest you’ve never had any. How’s Rich and Ginetta these days?
