On the bench, so my money is on Grimmer coming on for last 5 mins if we need a goal, otherwise splinters.the birthday boy posted this on his Instagram, is he on the move, not fancy his chances of getting more game time or Chaplins chances of scoring?!
Can't see grimmer going this month but he's out of contract isn't he?
It's weird, we don't have any other right backs though. Strange how a mainstay of last season's team was just dropped like that. Yes Sterling is better but he's not ours. Perhaps Robins saw Grimmer as a weaknessWill be interesting to see where he goes, he was with Shrewsbury on loan in L1 then signed for us. Might even go back to them?
Exactlyor Chaplins chances of scoring?!
probably pissed again....the birthday boy posted this on his Instagram, is he on the move, not fancy his chances of getting more game time or Chaplins chances of scoring?!
It could mean that Chaplin is going!
(Fingers crossed)
Not a bad bet to be honest.Think Grimmer bet his contract on Chaplin to not score 5 this season
Yep. Chaplin has 7.Not a bad bet to be honest.
Grimmer was ever present last season and topped it with a great finish at Wembley then dropped like a stone for Sterling.
Not questioning the decision but it’s harsh on him isn’t it. I’m be suprised if he stayed.
Leaves us short though obviously because sterling is a loanee.
I'm assuming Big easy got us Sterling. It's weird, we don't have any other right backs though. Strange how a mainstay of last season's team was just dropped like that. Yes Sterling is better but he's not ours. Perhaps Robins saw Grimmer as a weakness
Ha, would that be Ernie Els or New Orleans?Edit: Viveash autocorrects to Big easy, which is worth leaving In!

I think it was the way he was very harshly dropped at the start of the season for Sterling, despite his great efforts to help us get up last year.
Sterling probably should have been a sub to start with and obviously now he is showing his class and Grimmer can't be too unhappy to be 2nd choice now because sterling isn't doing anything wrong but did feel for him at the start of the season.
Its a tough one for him as hes competing against Sterling who is a fantastic talent and has a bright future ahead of him. He only comes in if Sterling is injured. Don't blame him if he goes, he wants more game time. I don't see why Robins don't sit him down and offer him a better contract for next season and making it clear he will be number 1 choice.
How can he guarantee he will be number 1 choice?
