If ACL is doing far better without the club and all the customers it brought around every other week, then they should help finance the new stadium to make sure the club doesn't come back to disrupt their improved business case.

Well that is their claim, and no one has really disputed the claim, maybe their accounts will show a different scenario. However surely you would wish them to concentrate their efforts on repaying their council loan first. Financing another business, especially one who has claimed to have run up circa £60 million losses in 7/8 years, should be the last thing on their agenda.

They said they would purchase the Ricoh off then at an agreed price so if they were offered reduced land costs, rates etc. I'm sure they would reconsider. It's in the councils interests. They can make zillions out of ACL. The NEC will be forced into administration and Sally will probably have to relocate here.

Sarcasm doesn't help you argument. Please give me an example of when SISU have reconsidered? Where is the proof they have ever made an offer showing intent?

I am surprised that considering Fisher stated SISU's intent to go and build their own stadium to ACL prior to withdrawing rent, that they are not further forward with it?

I'm sure they didn't say they are doing better without the club because that would be stupid !!
They would have said they can now manage without the club which is different.
I believe they also said that they want the club back and I guess thats still the case.
On the unlikely event that another customer could be found I guess they would have to reconsider waiting for the club.
