You never know the club’s relationship with Hamer may not be over. Who knows?
Anyway that’s not the purpose of this thread.
I was just wondering if those of you knowing more about international football than me are surprised that Gus hasn’t made the Netherlands team yet?
Surelt it’s only a matter of time.
One of the most influential players I’ve seen in my very long time watching the City.

He was adopted at a young age wasnt he? I imagine he’s a Dutch citizen.

Yes he and his brother were - they were both abandoned into a care home and the parents went through a lengthy adoption process to get them to the Netherlands.

My God I really started something .
Some people on here are from a different planet to me.
I was just asking a simple question about an excellent former player not asking him to donate a kidney to me .

He will probably tell you for a couple of months that he's happy to donate a kidney to you, but when the date comes closer he will say he's not sure as his kids in Holland so he needs to have a think about it, then someone else who needs a kidney will offer him more money for his kidney and he will give it to them leaving you fucked with no replacement kidney

I don't know what you get out of supporting CCFC. You constantly overreact and your bitterness is off the scale.

To me part of the joy of supporting a football club are the memories created by great players that by nature are only ever ours on a temporary basis. Hamer is the latest in a long line of players I have had the pleasure of watching from Tommy Hutch onwards and to think I would waste energy in hating them for leaving us, rather than moving on but being grateful for the memories is just bizarre to me.

He’s put it in a bit of an OTT way but it’s hard to deny that the way Hamer timed it really screwed us over in midfield.

If you add Gus to this team, I really think we could have turned some of those draws to wins. Promotion could have been a very realistic target. Not throwing the towel yet, but we’ve got a massive hole in the middle of the park.

Why is everyone still in his colon? Shall we make 46 threads about Todd Kane and if hes going to end up anywhere?
Todd Kane wasn't one of the two best players to play here in the last 20 years

If people can't reminisce about a man who was the driving force in us being one or two kicks away from the premier league again then we may as well delete the forum
