I’ve not seen enough of Spence tbh and I will stick my neck out and say you probably haven’t either…but the criteria you used can more or less be said of Gyokeres…possibly more.Of course they do, I've not said otherwise. But any notion that Gyokeres warrants equal to or more than Spence in terms of a fee is utterly ridiculous given the latter's demand, potential and quality.
Gyokeres' erratic finishing and lack of consistency in front of goal likely would put off a number of potential suitors.
What you mean premier leagueIt'll be Cameron Archer.
It says playing in the Championship recently. What you mean premier league
Aston Villa’s Cameron archer

Not sure why Cameron Archer warrants £20m-25m in your mind, yet Vik should be less than half that? It'll be Cameron Archer.

They are seemingly both very good championship players, with bright futures. So as strikers go for more than fullbacks it’s not inconceivable/ridiculous that they would go for similar amounts…even if you think Gyokeres is not as good?

Keinan Davies is probably worth that imo. Archer no more, but probably a little less. I think Vik is of similar value to the former.Given Villa has valued Keinan Davies at £15m I'd imagine they've valued Archer at an equally inflated figure.
Middlesbrough have also been reported to have shown interest.
Actually I went to Forest a few times last season due to a few friends of mine being ST holders. He's a special talent and it's of no surprise a top 6 PL club is actively looking to sign him. If anything IMO £15m rising to £20m is a steal.
How can you say the criteria can be said more of Gyokeres given the stark difference in the stature of clubs interested in both players? The most definitive interest in Gyokeres so far in this window is Middlesbrough?
Given at Spence's age Gyokeres was struggling to get a game for Swansea, Spence quite clearly has a far brighter future than him.

I think that's £20-£25m for Vic
do you think he’s talking about gyokeres
Well it isn't is it. Look at players sold by Championship clubs for that figure and you'll realise any notion of the club placing a value of that size on Gyokeres' head is frankly idiotic.

Could I refer you to Legia Sky Blue's post.I'm of the same opinion.I and many others hope it put and end to any thought of Vic leaving.Love it to be the same Callum and Gus.
Or ConnolyAre people missing the recently part? Which implies it was a striker on loan from a Premier League club he’s talking about. Could be Balogun who they had?

Or Connoly
To be fair Connolly is definitely worth nowhere near that value stated, and seeing as Brighton arent complete dicksI would safely put absolutely everything I own on it NOT being Aaron Connolly

It could be Adam Armstrong or David Nugent for all we know. Pointless even talking about it.
If Middlesbrough offered 20-25 million for Vik (they won’t) I’d drive him there myself
CluelessWhy wouldn't you look at goals and assists? We have one number 10 who is amazing at everything apart from end product, and we really need more in that area. This is not just one season's worth of data we are looking at, he has failed to provide a good amount in six seasons in the championship.
He might be a 'classy player' in your eyes, and I am sure your experience watching him is valid, but how on any planet is that enough? If there is no end product then it is pointless. If he is going to be one of our highest paid players then there are a lot of question marks too.
Clueless
Strong counter argument. Is it because I said something about COH? Everyone knows how much you get triggered at even the slightest bit of criticism of him.
The facts are there. He doesn't have enough end product at the moment and we've just signed a player in the same position who also has questionable stats. Why don't you tell us how assists and goals aren't important for attacking players, rather than posting a one word stroppy reply?
Oh man. By the looks of it you might give Gyokeres to them for freeOf course they do, I've not said otherwise. But any notion that Gyokeres warrants equal to or more than Spence in terms of a fee is utterly ridiculous given the latter's demand, potential and quality.

Well he is an attacking midfielder paid to score or assist goals right? I fear the meltdown if palmer starts actually producing and ohare gets dropped. The opposition basically build their defensive game plan on stopping O’Hare. Every pundit comments on how integral he is to us. Should he score and assist more? Yes. If he added that consistently he wouldn’t be playing for us. It’s very basic just to judge him on his goals and assists when his game is so much more than that
You're placing far too much onus on goals and assists and completely ignoring how integral he is to the side.
Other than Hamer he's probably our only consistent link between defence and attack, his ability to stop the opposition's run of play by tracking back and get the ball back quickly is also invaluable given the lack of quality we have in defence, and due to his attacking threat he regularly draws defenders away ultimately creating room for others to get into dangerous positions.
Given we scored more goals last season than 15 sides but only conceded less than 7 I'd probably be more concerned about our issues at the other end of the pitch.
