Do we really have momentum? In the last 10 games of the season we were 19th in the form table. Hardly indicative of a team destined for the PL next season.
A key player is also likely to be sold this summer with no guarantees that their replacement is going to have a similar impact.
Forest were always a sleeping giant and just needed the right manager to make them click - they also invested heavily in January which as previously shown we lack the means to do.
We of course could follow in Luton's footsteps but will Gyokeres really pin his career hopes on a club that is consistently run on a shoestring potentially reaching the Play-Offs?
What is their exciting growth plans lol...?
Fine margins last 10 games of season. Could have and should have easily won about 7 of those games. Performances were there vs Likes of Blackburn/Huddersfield/Bournemouth even Baggies away could have gone either way...on another day we should have been out of sight before half time in most those games.
If a club is paying the right money I couldn't give a fuck where he goes .. is where I'm at
I’d rather any significant sale we make is done early in the window
They’ve done it before… 15 plus on AssombolongaLets face it personally dont think they got anywhere near the sort of money they will need for gyok.
Will be shocked if they spend more than £5m on any one player. And even then £5m is alot for them even if they re coup on various others.
Ridiculous if any on here think they are spending £10/15m in this transfer window in transfer fees.

Stick that in your scenery and suck itApparently they're Barcelona with the scenery of fucking Tuscany
Those were completely different times. They’ve done it before… 15 plus on Assombolonga
They're likely to generate £30m in fees from the pending Spence and Tavernier sales.
Granted a significant proportion of that will be used towards offsetting losses, but Steve Gibson likely won't hesitate in redirecting the majority of the rest back into the playing budget.
Jesus major backtracking
So their exciting growth plans are to sell their best players ( best saleable assets). Lol.
To pay off their significant debts.
And you think seem to think they will spend 10s of millions in transfer fees? In particular you think they can afford £10m plus on Gyokores.
Wow.
Middlesbro.
Personally think Sunderlands net spend will be significantly more than their neighbours operation premiership.
Watch this space. You are clueless. Middlesbrough have been big spenders for years backed by a fan who is not going to call in any debt at any time.

Unless you've got a cast iron source, 37 years of Gibson backing them sugests fp is more likely to be right for the season ahead...Watch this space.
How many players live in Cov though, I know a few who live in Leam, Stratford and surrounding areas, and a couple commute a good way.P.S. I hardly think players come to play for Coventry City FC for the prospect of living in the city of Coventry….

Exactly my point. Not even close.yes gibson backs boro but they still aren't spending 10 to 15 million on one player
Theres no doubting his backing from way back Juninho/Ravenelli days to Assombalonga a few years back.
Hes heamoraging and absorbing huge losses season on season especialy last 2 seasons...and this season on just 20-22k gates. Its just not sustainable. Just how long that continues will be interesting to follow this season.
This is literally the counter argument to "he won't go to middlesborough it's a shithole"How many players live in Cov though, I know a few who live in Leam, Stratford and surrounding areas, and a couple commute a good way.
Agree with the first bit. Surely he'd go to Fulham or Forest ahead of Middlesbrough. However, I do think he would command a fee in excess of £10 million. With respect to M'Boro if i was Gyokeres i'd keep my powder dry for a while longer.... i'm sure a Fulham or even a promoted club like Forest might take a punt on him. However, i can't see any club paying out over £10m even in instalments for a player that's had one very good season.
Is there anywhere nice around Middlesbrough though? This is literally the counter argument to "he won't go to middlesborough it's a shithole"

It’s 20 miles from a national park
