no it’s back to reality - but if you think we could even turn down £8 million great but don’t see where the black hole gets funded
Sorry, but Sisu are the owners. If there's a black hole, they need to fund it. Or we hold out for decent money for our players.

If sisu’s end game is to reunite the club and stadium to make a sale then they aren’t going to want to risk losing our championship status just as the stadium is starting to vaguely appear over the horizon.

They have admitted they won’t fund it that’s my point!

Everton is surely too big a jump for a 0ayer that couldn’t get into Brighton, Swansea and even our team ahead of Biamou before last season.

I think he’s a top class player but Everton aren’t going to be dropping the sort of sums we’d want for him are they?

true but they're ran by idiots. if there's one club that's going to overpay for him..it's everton 😂

The irony in your post is incredible.

not really - as the guy who resurrected the new ground thread showed - it’s who delivers the message. If it was fisher he’s have been laughed out of town. Now it’s someone who seems to engage with the fans you are told to have a day off

Fisher was hated on here but he’s no different than the current CEO - they both operate from the same bible and the Goddess who runs the show

They are loaded if it’s true throw money around like there’s no tomorrow £25/30m must be the asking price and they’d probably say ok to that and £50k a week for Vik!!

So what then? They'll just let us go to the wall?

Aside from the original source...

My Swedish isn't great but would seem to add weight to interest. Not sure if this was the site that originally reported our bid for Vik was accepted last summer.

I disagree. If Everton want him, they're the sort of club that will pay the top dollar. If say another championship club came in for him, I'd probably agree with you. But Premier League teams always overpay.

the problem is we have owners who haven’t put a single penny into the club for 10 years

They are far from loaded. They were on the brink of punishment for FFP last year and that’s only been eased by the sale of Richarlison. They’ve just spunked £30M on some midfielder and lined in Coady so those funds have already been whittled away slightly.

Not saying they can’t afford £10M, but I doubt they are coming in with £25M+ for Vik.

They must be loaded if they can Spunk money on foreign players no one else has heard of.
So I’m sure they can Spunk £30m on a proven scorer with a few years ahead of him!!

Obvs would hate to see Vik go but a move to a club of Everton's size in the league above is probably about right and far less depressing than losing him to a rival.

Timing wise it's pretty perfect for him, he'd get game time as they have a lot of injuries.

If he goes I hope we rinse them for the fee. I know money is tight but the more we get the more likely MR gets a proportion of the profits to get in some new recruits.
If we can manage to avoid relegation we're likely play Everton in the Championship next season.

Inevitably they will be here a short while even when Richardson was chairman we were doing the same thing so sisu in that sense aren't that bad, think Vik should only be sold to a premiership club that includes Fulham for minimum 15 million.
O'Hare ,hamer they will be sold in the next 18 months I think,I'm expecting Keller to step into O'Hare's roll and sheaf into the hamer roll if we haven't got targets lined up which think we will have.
Who's Keller?

They literally spent £2m last season because they were so much in the hole with FFP. The sale of Richarlison will fund any transfers, but they aren’t coming to us offering the money you think they are.

They’ve got a new stadium they need to finance alongside running the club too. On paper the owner is minted. The club isn’t.

If he goes, then let's get it done asap and let MR get a replacement in asap. One plus if he does go is that I was starting to find Vik strangely more attractive with each passing game and beginning to query my sexuality. Need a big ugly bugger instead like Mick Harford.

What do you think is a good price for him or what they will offer?

A good price for us? After seeing Chelsea pay £20M for an unproven 19 year old I’d hope we’d get around that for him.
But I don’t think Everton will offer anywhere near that. £10M maybe with add ons? Of course if it happens it’ll be “disclosed” so we’ll only find out in the following years accounts.

It’d be a pain but Everton I could handle losing Viktor to, it’s a completely different kettle of fish to Burnley or Middlesbrough - regardless of their struggles in recent years Everton are a massive club
