Why would they let Ellis Simms and Nathan Broadhead out on loan and then spend £?? millions on a similar player? Doesn’t really sound like a good plan for them. All b/s again I reckon

I didn't see either Simms or Broadhead playing as one of the top centre forwards in the championship this year. There's no doubt they've got potential, but Viktor is on a different level to them

omg so.

@Skybluebeliever - could you please clarify your earlier comment that everyone has hung on to. Apparently previously you said that only the wages of anybody going out would be made available.
Are you saying this would be the same whether we sold a player for £2m up front or £20m?
If he goes and I think there is a long way to go yet , the club would have to give some money back to reinvest if he goes for the valuation we all think it should be .The amount we would receive upfront is crucial though

I don’t think the plan has ever been to sell him and still think that’s the case but i still believe we have to sell someone this window

I just wish it wasn’t Vik…..too important to us but would still wonder how he would fit with the Premier League and moaning Everton fans expectations.

Oh aye....I know Gyokeres is better (to date).....but i'm sure Simms is just as capable of sitting on the bench & playing the odd 45 in the EFL cup.....which is what Gyok wil lbe doing should he move there....

Having watched them against Chelse he'll be straight into the starting 11 at least until Lewis is back.
Gordon up front! What a prat Lampard is.

Let say Vik stays and he has a great season with us scoring around 20, and he also has a good World Cup, his potential value would rocket from about £!0M now, to around £20-25M Next season
Sweden didn’t even qualify.

Simms scored two for Scumderland so is ahead of Vik already hahaha

If he goes which I'm sure he will let's hope for a decent amount of cash and maybe SISU will use the money to buy wasps out?
