All this speculation from no-nothing fucking idiot 'reporters' is getting so boring, ain't it???

I know we have a great talent in Vik, and it's to be expected, but only him and MR know what is going on.
Good chance it’s been put out by his agent.

Difficult to prove either way.

I think we struggled at the start of the season trying to find a system / formula without O‘hare (also Palmer not being fully fit)

We have adapted our style of play in that on occasion we are more direct and this has worked.

In addition, I think Hamer and Allen have flourished without O’hare and have stepped up their game.

Im not convinced we would be higher in the league if O’hare had been available for most of the season.

With a player of his calibre we certainly wouldn't be in a worst position.

In the premier league if the club wanted to actually be serious about staying in it obviously

Like if they were serious about promotion from L2 the club should have hired someone else?

Like if they were serious about promotion from L1 the club should have hired someone else?

Like if they were serious about avoiding relegation in the Championship they should have hired someone else?

West Ham are keen on Coventry and Sweden striker Viktor Gyokeres, 24, who is valued at around £20m. (Sun)

Brentford, Crystal Palace, Everton, Leeds and Leicester are all also monitoring Gyokeres. (90min)

May the bidding war begin, that should add another 5 million too the fee.

With moyes when its good it's good , but when it's bad he has NO CLUE how to turn it round
He turned round Everton after they had a season of struggle. 17th to 4th. Also led them from bottom to 11th in the same season.

Moyes record at Everton overall is pretty good , the season they finished 17th Is a record low for Everton I believe .. during a season when his teams are doing poorly , he really struggles to turn it around as I've pointed out , how west ham haven't sacked him is a miracle , they've won 4 times in the premier league since October and I believe the form over a year is pretty horrendous

Btw , that season was almost 20 years ago..

7 wins in his last 33 premier league matches , he has a far better squad than that

Many west ham fans want him gone
2bh West Ham are another set of fans that have a bigger opinion of themselves than they actually are.

if it ain’t free flowing football or “the West Ham way” they’re not happy

Moyes did a great job at Everton but since then his record has been... mixed, at best.

Nothing wrong with demanding your team play in a certain way.
I wouldn't be happy if our next manager had us playing like a Warnock or a Pullis team.

The West Ham way is bollocks - Billy bonds kicking lumps out of people - then we have Ince and Julien Dicks committing gbh over the pitch

Even good footballing sides and good footballers can have that side to their game.
Not that I'm suggesting Dicks was a good footballer!
The other 2 were.

But they’ve never had a cultured team after the World Cup winning team. It’s just a myth created by the London mefia who always romanticised London clubs especially the 70’s

They have something like the fifth highest average attendance in the world or something - they’re surprisingly big.

Vik is going to be linked to half the Prem this Summer, really not surprising. Very simple really:If we get promoted, I think he will want to continue to do the job for us up front. If are in the Championship again, he will be off which will suck but as long as we reinvest the money prudently and have a good squad for another promotion push, it will be alright.

Not going to stress about it either way until we really have too.

I get that. But the “West Ham way” makes me cringe - nothing in their near history suggests they should be winning regularly with pulsating football. Same as Newcastle
