It's OK, I think he's a massive waste of money. Luckily a) Robins is a better manager than me. b) It's not my moneyBased on what?
The day I listen to an American football fan is the day I give upJust looking at comments from USA fans and the like who have watched him. People talk about him like we do Tyler Walker or Bakayoko
Like Swansea fans did with gyokeres?

We have almost no track record of spending this kind of money. It will be the biggest signing either CCFC or Robins has ever made, and quite possibly our first ever signing from Turkey. This is a totally unprecedented signing and I have no idea if it’ll pay off - but it has to.Probably the last 5/6 years but I’m only guessing
we don't really know its a little though do weJust doesn’t vibe for me. Seems a lot on a little.
To be fair , rangers and villareal didn't bid for bakayoko and WalkerJust doesn’t vibe for me. Seems a lot on a little.
Based on how the last two signings over £1 million worked out, or indeed most of them over £500kBased on what?
Yes provided Wright gets clearance to play in timeView attachment 31087team v Leicester?
Exciting isnt it ?We have almost no track record of spending this kind of money. It will be the biggest signing either CCFC or Robins has ever made, and quite possibly our first ever signing from Turkey. This is a totally unprecedented signing and I have no idea if it’ll pay off - but it has to.
I don’t think any of those signings compare to this one. Hamer is the closest comparison and was a stunning success but this is totally different - it’s a huge gamble, and if it fails it’s a disaster that could set us back years.Based on how the last two signings over £1 million worked out, or indeed most of them over £500k
Would love to know what research we have done on this guy. Looks so raw and cumbersome on the clips of him. The comments on him don't exactly fill me with confidence. If we were spending £2m on him I'd could maybe see it.
Mind you I thought Gyokeres was an absolute carthorse on first viewings.
Surely it's the same thing. You are just choosing to read the negative ones to suit your own opinion
Godden will StartView attachment 31087team v Leicester?

Cant even think of a striker thats moved directly to england.Who is the last striker from the Turkish SuperLig who had a good goalscoring record in the top two English divisions?
Well they did tbh , said he was the worst striker to play for them ever

For the amounts spent in relation to the money we had available I'd say they're comparable. Hamer was our biggest fee since Freddie Eastwood, Gyokeres was a similar amount and paying instalments of the latter was significant enough to disrupt our cashflow just last season. So at the time they also represented considerable gambles on the club's part.I don’t think any of those signings compare to this one. Hamer is the closest comparison and was a stunning success but this is totally different - it’s a huge gamble, and if it fails it’s a disaster that could set us back years.
Madness, just watched that episode tonight with my sonJulie.
Anderton.
OK amended View attachment 31089
Just watched his "highlights" video. 90% of them are him miscontrolling, diving, missing the target or taking the wrong option. Even his goals are mostly deflected and wouldn't go in against Championship GK's. Most insane signing in our history.Just doesn’t vibe for me. Seems a lot on a little.
