Biggest thng for me is that Simms suddenly realised he could use his strength and be an animal, and that him and Haji seem to have developed an understanding. Add Sakamoto and ECM into the mix, and both strikers could bag 25 apiece with a fair wind behind them.

Yeah, simms and wright both got a bit more physical at the back end of the season which was great to see. Both have pace and power as has Mason Clark. Could be a handful !

Don't think Sakamoto will take the shit the opposition gave him the season just gone either. It will have toughened him up

just look at the winner at wolves.
nice ball in to feet from COH.
simms held the defender off really well, and played a perfect strength ball to haji.
haji places it majestically into the bottom right corner.

quality throughout, and shows a really good understanding between simms and wright.
would love to see them shoulder to shoulder upfront next season.

Pretty sure one of Simms’ goals v Rotherham was very similar albeit a role reversal.

I can’t remember which game it was when Wright basically did all the work for a goal but then Simms scored it (it was going in anyway), in the celebration Wright was signalling to the crowd to give their praise to Simms.

Wright had started to come good before Simms, and he obviously knew he was low on confidence so was getting the crowd behind Simms. They seem to get on really well together

absolutely.
and wright did this on a number of occasions. he'd obviously realised it was a confidence issue, and did the best thing to help address it. simms will know that, and it's the basis of what is becoming a great partnership.

Some details of Haji's contract in CET today:

-2m euros if we are promoted in first 2 seasons (one left)
-20% sell on clause (on profit)

If we got promoted I don't think there would be too much worry about finding 2m euros

Wasn't all of this detailed in the very first tweet from that Turkish journo last summer.
