If he was more consistent, with his movement and skill and finishing prowess he'd be a Premier League player by now. He makes it look effortless when he's on it.

5 goals in 12 Championship appearances this season.

In a team that has not been playing anywhere near 100% and with a formation that is unsettled so far.

First name on the team sheet for me - class act.

I really don't know what to say. There was a chance in first half where he won the ball by "pushing the defender over" then proceeded to dribble into the box and then be slide tackled by the same defender when he could have squared it/attempted a SoG.

He's regularly out muscled, but... from about 60/70 mins he was unplayable. Winning everything and looking a real threat. His goal was a stinker compared to what he should have scored today. I just hope the last 20/30 minute Haji turns up at the next game.

If we didn’t have him we’d look at whoever did with Envy.

he doesn’t press like a dog after a ball because he’s rationing his energy so he can go on the gut busting runs. He did it about 3/4 times today and was just leaving defenders for dead, defenders who played regularly in the Prem last year too.

Haji was amazing today, an absolute menace with his pace.

I think sometimes people need to understand Work rate isn’t all about high press but actually listening to team instructions and working hard on your role.

I don’t think Robins actually wants his strikers pressing high, normally just wants them to block options through the centre to force them wide where we try and double up.

Not afraid to have a shot! May not come off sometimes but makes a change from most of the team too scared to have an effort! Get his confidence built up and more often than not his attempts will be hitting the back of the net! Let’s hope anyway 🤞

Today he played with more determination and it made a huge difference. It mirrored the rest of the team who for some reason were on it throughout. I don't understand why this isn't always the case.

Showed something different today second half as well coming short for the ball in the middle of the pitch, got in some good positions from it. We moved the ball much quicker today which helped him too.

There was also a point in the 1st half he tracked all the way back and made a challenge in our own 6 yard box, something I've never seen from him before

Best performance for the club in my opinion today

Showed some aggression at long last

He will score another 20 goals this season comfortably
Honestly - I thought heading into injury time he had been so-so by his high standards. Some great moments but had run into trouble too often and had no real part in the first two goals.

But if I have to bet my life on any of our current squad scoring a winner in the 90+ minute...

So pleased he got the winner today, his performance deserved it, also loved watching him shoving the time wasting Holmes off the pitch after his red card.
It illustrated an aggressive hunger & desire that’s been a bit lacking throughout the team, wasn’t at all surprised when he got the winner.

It was Lati who shoved Holmes off the pitch, not Wright.

The "lazy" label is frankly bizarre. Several times, including yesterday, he has tracked back about 50/60 yards to defend.

When are people going to realise, he's just a laid back guy, and a bloody talented footballer?
Isn’t it the minority that choose to label him…or anyone they don’t rate?
