Gus probably earns say £7.5k/week give or take. Two weeks wages. Would be more like the average worker with a watch worth about £1k. Which TBF I know a few people who have done that and more.
yes but you need to take into account the length of his career

Why do you think? He isn't earning 7.5k a week til he's 65 so it's not a fair comparison

I haven’t been earning my wage since I left school either.

He will still earn money after football and in all likelihood make enough capital to do it through investments because he got a wedge up front.

He also won’t be earning only £7.5k a week for much longer looking at him.

True, as an interesting comparison Dion Dublin was interviewed on talk sport yesterday about a podcast he has done he was asked about how he got into tv and Homes Under The Hammer in particular he revealed he has had interest in property and been investing in it been since 1992 and said he has either 18 or 80 in his portfolio didn’t catch the figure, illustrates what having footballers wages can offer a

He's not there yet, just saying a straight comparison isn't quite right, pedantic I know, but that's just me:p
