I actually disagree with this completely, Scott has a higher potential ceiling sure , hence his price tag due to age .. but hamer has been far better this season ..Scott is a much better player and that will be reflected in his price tag

And Scott might not reach his potential. Happens frequently in football.Hamer is a much better player than Scott right now. The reason Scott is likely to command a higher fee is a combination of being English, being younger and having more potential to improve. Hamer could well be already at his peak!

Maybe Netherlands might have called someone up who was already capped but got relegated from the Prem but I can’t imagine either side are at a low enough ebb to be looking in England’s second tier for players right now.Surprised Gus hasn’t been called up for a national squad, wonder who he would choose to play for
