I think this year he has been. Was up there first 2.
Putting in a performance like that in a showcase game, on the back of top performances to get us in the play offs, pretty much guarantees he’ll be playing in Prem next year with Vik. Whatever happens at Wembley getting there should put a few quid on valuations assuming both play ok in the final. They deserve to be given a crack at the top level, just hope it’s with us and the rest of the lads

Such an interesting player. He's not really arsed about ball retention, has skills and composure, can finish, sometimes his passes go astray but his first thought is nearly always to pass forwards and at least *try* and do something dangerous. He's not afraid of it not working out because he knows he'll get another chance to try something else.

He’s on a different level. Miles better than anyone Boro had up against him. On Sunday it felt like he was playing their midfield by himself.

Last two months?? Why are people so begrudging about Hamer? He's been exceptional all season apart from the early sending off. We'd be nowhere near the play offs without him. By far our best player since the Premier League.

It's not begrudging, early season he was either getting sent off or not playing because he was suspended! That in no way takes away from his current form since coming back, but to deny the early season issues is rose tinted glasses.
