Unfortunately Morrison is right, but people like him are part of the problem. Instead of just saying it's part of the game, they should be condemning it.Hammer red card some observations
1) By the rules it was red card
2) Ask a doctor or a member of the judiciary to place the scything of Dabo, Cooks action, and Hamers action in order of danger Hamers comes third by a long way. Elbow or clenched fist should be the mandatory red card.
3) Clinton Morrisson on Sky reckons that the way Cook sucked Hamer into the slap was “part of the game” Trouble is refs don’t understand the dark arts
Another ridiculous decision. Lamela should also have been at least booked.Martial has just been sent off for something pretty much identical to what Hamer did.

Martial literally tapped him.
Lamela rolling around on the floor like he had been hit by Tyson after he put his elbow in Martial's throat.
I agree about Lamela, but for the red, that's the rules.Another ridiculous decision. Lamela should also have been at least booked.

Yeah, badly worded. Appreciate it’s the rules but the rules suck. Lamela booked but missed what for, was it retrospectively for the elbow / forearm thing?I agree about Lamela, but for the red, that's the rules.

He’s been booked but missed what for? They have VAR but Lamella went unpunished?
And get the first blow in (first rule of the playground tbf).I think what we now all know is violence is fine as long as you keep it below the chin.
Just seen McSheffrey’s comments on Hamer,
Doesn’t fancy it out of possession doesn’t track runners and pulls out of tackles Dan Gosling taught him a lesson.
Hamer has been excellent so far wasn’t his greatest night Friday but I’m certain he will learn and grow.
Lamela, like Cook, should also have been sent off.
Ref: should have either gave both players a red, or both yellow or better still both a bollockingLamela, like Cook, should also have been sent off.
StrokedDoes anyone have a video? From seeing it once Cook pushed in the chest and Hamer pushed in the face?
Which is complete bollocks. Violent conduct is violent conduct and the tackle and the push were both red cardsI think what we now all know is violence is fine as long as you keep it below the chin.
Yes, but Dan Gosling has 200 odd premier league appearances

Yeah which is the bollox in this crapSo if the rule is you can't raise your arms could he have got away with a booking if he had punched him in the bollocks?
McSheffrey has been bitter about us for a couple of years.

Gosling the player with a couple of hundred Premier League games?
From conversations I've had, I think McSheffrey's issue is with Robins slightly more than with the club. Robins politely told him no after he repeatedly asked to come back (I think it was during the summer of the League Two campaign), and from what I remember I believe there were a few words exchanged between the two. Apparently this stemmed from McSheffrey attempting to give it the big 'I Am' after his offer was respectfully declined, which went down as well as you can probably expect.
