He wasn’t a very good footballer. I didn’t hate him, just thought he was nowhere near good enough in the championship. One particular incident sticks out when he made a run that impeded our other forward (might have been Godden) rather than created space for him

For me it was the bizarre 'pass' against Forest that they then scored from in the 92nd minute to win the game. It was 100% the right decision to let him go as his career since has shown.

No?

League 2 he played 40 games. Started playoff final

League 1 promotion season played 18 games. Scored last min winner be Bolton just before seaosn packed up iirc

Think acl season was the year we didn't go up in league 1.

in the league 1 promotion season he featured for less than 800 minutes in total

we finished 6th in league two - hardly a mega achievement either

He contributed to two promotions regardless.

Dont have to have him as your favourite player but he clearly was never shite.

The issue with biamou is that he had some diehard fans who would still want him in prem etc. But any posters issue should be with those weirdos rather than trying to put max the player down .

I’m willing to bet that Robins and Adi ripped him a new one afterwards. He came back from that suspension a different player

It's not hatred at all, just an honest assessment of his talent. We needed better, and in Vik we got better.

It's weird how whenever someone points out a players obvious shortcomings, it's interpreted as hatred! Where the fuck did that come from?

Surely if the manager thinks he should be in contention then he will be. Otherwise he'll go out on loan or eventually be let go.

Tavares is not at the level, but I don't see us spending money on a 4th choice striker to get 5 or 10 mins off the bench now and then.

Unless we sign two more strikers and bump Godden down to 4th choice, which also seems unlikely. He would surely be the best 4th choice striker in the division.

That’s what I’d expect. Another perm to partner Simms and a Prem loanee to challenge, then Godden.

Poor choice of word from me - perhaps detractors would have been more appropriate.

In fact he spends more times searching my posts as attending live games. To be fair he’d only have to search three a season to achieve that

Someone with a bit of a humility would just hold their hands up and admit they dropped a clanger. Hamer turned it round and with Vik, carried us to Wembley. You just go on the offensive and fire shots at anyone you can think of on unrelated subjects. It's a bit grim.

He needs to play first team football for his own sake. The way some go on about him you’d think he’s a 16 year old wonderkid when in reality he’ll be 23 in less than 6 months and has never played first team football.

Im hardly going on the offensive - I’m certainly not taking lessons either from someone who wanted shot of Gyokeres after his loan spell and extending biamous contract

Here you bracket him ability wise to hillsner

6 Game Mini Season

I wouldn't go that far. Our position is the best to be in, but we have to make it count.I would. Win at home to worst away team in the league and you are level on points, 2 games in hand, far superior goal difference. Its theirs to fuck up. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Yes you keep saying that - I think @mmttww will say you are being defensive

Biamou - new contract

I very much doubt Biamou is on anything like 4k. It's not really a particularly hot take. I would Biamou is closer to 4k then 1k (more likely 2.5-3k). I'm basing it on an initial average L2 wage, 2 promotion wage rises, new contract while in L1 (rise) and 3 yearly incremental wage rises. Jones...
