There is no rumour about Feyenoord - it was based on one comment by Hamer which was then used as clickbait

Robins said clubs not club - this is what he said

Asked if the club have received any bids for the player, he admitted: “The honest answer is yes, we have had offers but they haven’t been acceptable. That could change, who knows. He’s a top player, there’s no doubt about it, and other clubs covet them and put things in his head and that’s something that you can’t remove from his head.

Is that the actual direct quote? As the final sentence is incredibly vague.

Yes it is as for the Feyonoord "link" its a comment Hamer made

“For me, the focus is now on a step up towards the Premier League, but a return to Feyenoord would also be extremely attractive. Other top leagues would also be nice, but these are my real goals now. If Feyenoord calls me to return, I will say yes, without hesitation, in spite of everything.”

He also said that he is earning 4 times more than he did with Zwolle

If he wants to go should be all sorted by now ...staying just sign the contract ..we need to know the direction to move forward ASAP

As long as he’s been open and honest with the club and gives his all on the pitch, I’m not sure there’s much we can complain about. I presume he has told the club what he wants but we won’t want to disclose this as it might impact negotiations with potential buyers and/or we might be holding out hope that we can persuade him to sign new deal if a sales not completed by the end of the window

Frustrating for us as fans but we’ve just got to let it play out.

I think he'll end up going to sheff united now that they have sold Sander Berge.

I wouldn't be surprised if he had an agreement with the club that if a prem team offers over X amount he can leave, and if no team offers the money he'll sign a 1 year extension. Would explain why everyone is still happy in the current situation.

Well he’s in the squad.

At the forefront, again. If any credible bids had come in, he wouldn’t even be there.

It really isn't that simple. You can't sell a player under contract who doesn't want to move.

Yes you can, if there are bids coming in.
If I was a club interested and wanted to be crafty, I’d put a 5-8M bid in on the last week of the window. The club don’t have a choice unless they are happy for him to go for free in the summer.

Would imagine that bid would be rejected

No you can’t. Because if he doesn’t want to sign for the new club then it can’t go through 😂

Sheff Utd just signed a midfielder so maybe Gus is off their radar now 🤞

I won't lie, 10 mins after writing I think Hamer will go to sheff united, Sky Sports announced Sheffield had signed a midfielder. I initially shat my pants till the news was confirmed. Hopefully that's the end of their interest.

Anyone know what’s happening re Hamer ?
He loves it here and wants to stay.
His contract is 85% sorted.
But he wants to go to Feyenoord as he wants to be closer to his son, who had gone back to Holland with the ex Mrs Hamer who apparently shagged his window cleaner.
He also wants more money (22k pw)than we can offer (18kpw - wage structure) so he is looking at a move to the Premier League.
He's in talks with Leicester who have offered 45k pw. He's also going to Burnley, whilst being in talks with Sheffield United. But he's going to run his contract down and move on at the end of the season, unless the club cash in on him for 15mil and he goes to Leeds.
There you go!
