Good to see you're taking it well CraigWhen Hamer sobers up and realises he sign for Shitfield United he will still have the biggest hangover in the world .
I always cringe when I see how many miles it is to Shitfield when I’m on the motorway

Onwards and upwards BSB I think the result Saturday has softened the blow . Still in mourning but I’m sure like most we will get over it !Good to see you're taking it well Craig
Time to leave him be I think...
He was superb for us and a class character but I honestly think he'll look back and regret his decision. It's so rare that someone gets the chance to actually be part of something special and be a genuine hero for a community. Gus could have had that with us but has chosen to chase a quick move to the prem instead.
The new boys need our support now.
AgreedTime to close this thread now it’s run it’s course.
I think it's more the way he strung it out over the summer. I have the utmost respect for what he did and loved him as a player but leaving us hanging like that has left a slightly sour taste.Hamer was a great player for us. I don't get the sour grapes negativity? He has gone to the league above good luck to him. I have seen some of our best players go to our Midlands rivals when they were in the same division.
I would still welcome Gus back with open arms .I think it's more the way he strung it out over the summer. I have the utmost respect for what he did and loved him as a player but leaving us hanging like that has left a slightly sour taste.

Perhaps he was torn and wanted the right move for himself? Perhaps it was the club that stalled things trying to hang onto him? Perhaps the club were trying to bump his fee? Perhaps Mark Robins convinced him Sheff United was a good opportunity for him, so we didn't lose out on a significant transfer fee? Who knows, few on here I suspect?I think it's more the way he strung it out over the summer. I have the utmost respect for what he did and loved him as a player but leaving us hanging like that has left a slightly sour taste.

I'd say the powers that be knew he wasn't going to sign a new deal and if the magic number was met he would be off. He deserves a chance in the premier league pity it wasn't with is but wasn't to beI think it's more the way he strung it out over the summer. Understandable when you lived in the biggest shit hole in Sheffield. When Hamer sobers up and realises he sign for Shitfield United he will still have the biggest hangover in the world .

He should try living in the biggest shit hole in ManchesterUnderstandable when you lived in the biggest shit hole in Sheffield.
No thanks , I did that years ago but I must admit it was an upgrade from Shitfield 🫵He should try living in the biggest shit hole in Manchester
Not surprised tbh when you choose to live in the one miniscule part of the city that everyone else is queuing up to move out of . Did you live there as it was cheap as chips ? ( Honestly there's a clue there ).No thanks , I did that years ago but I must admit it was an upgrade from Shitfield 🫵
Yes then moved out , can’t complain though , my next door neighbour is Gemma Atkinson and some strictly bloke called Gorka , rough as fuck up hereNot surprised tbh when you choose to live in the one miniscule part of the city that everyone else is queuing up to move out of . I would suggest the complete opposite if I’m honest .Gus has gone to a team who will go down , so expectations will be low . Vik is playing for an established top European side in the Champions league , it could be a huge stepping stone for him and his futureThe positive for Gus is he should develop his all round skill and fitness. Vik is unlikely to do that. He might just cruise for a few years.
Will be interesting to see how the two of them get on.
Gyo will look to move from Sporting the moment he senses he's outgrown them or needs a bigger challenge. The positive for Gus is he should develop his all round skill and fitness. Vik is unlikely to do that. He might just cruise for a few years.

Think that’s what will happen he is in prime spot for the big European clubs to pounce one day.Gyo will look to move from Sporting the moment he senses he's outgrown them or needs a bigger challenge.
They finished 4th last season and didn't qualify for the champions league.I would suggest the complete opposite if I’m honest .Gus has gone to a team who will go down , so expectations will be low .
