My favourite player & he’s 63 today!

Anyone who comes back in loan and scores the goals that send his parent club down is alright by me.

Very underrated at our club.

Wallace would not have gone for 1 million if it wasn’t for Ferguson.

An absolute legend.
Powerful and prolific.
The partnership with Wallace was outstanding. In the same category and class as Dublin/Huckerby. Wallace from memory was never the same player without Ferguson.

Bobby robson actually wanted to buy him at that time

When Fergie got the 3rd, the west end sang "Fergie;s worth a million"
When he got the 4th they sang "Fergie;s not for sale"

my favourite though was when he came back on loan, and scored the goal that sent his club (birmingham) down

Mick Ferguson , you are indeed a legend.
Will never forget your performances back in 77/78 season. Also your fantastic effort for us back on loan in 83/84. Can still visualise your winning goal against Norwich in 84.
