Same with Turnbull and Reid! If you have a gentleman's agreement, then act like a gentleman! Don't fuck off last minute and screw the club over! Either sign and stay or fuck off already! Allow us to prepare properlyGeorge Thomas needs to make his mind up stay or go all this pissing about is no for the club
Really? Shakes head.....My first thought was that he'd maybe be offered a sweetener to persuade GT to sign for them!

What can you do when a PL comes in for someone? If you force them to stay you've got a player that doesn't want to be here and potentially a disruptive influence.I think it's very disappointing personally. People complain about short termism but then seem happy that a promising young player is sold because they don't believe he'll put up with the physical L2 game. Bollocks.
I don't do bullshit Bro I have never made anything up on here as I don't no anybody that's in the no.He told me last week but didn't put anything on here as you do get alot of keyboard warriors.Yea ok bro

In an ideal world players would realise they're better off playing a full season or two at a lower level and then being sold on to a higher level club as a genuine first team contender. Better for the player and better for the selling club. Unfortunately unless agents role in the game is radically changed there's little chance of that happening.
It is so.Isn't that a bullshit account? I'd be very happy with £1m if true
About where I am with this oneLets be brutally honest, last years pre season he looked pretty poor, he started the season and again looked poor, he came back and put in a few decent performances in got his head turned by Liverpool and we have allegedly got around £1 million for a player at best on the fringes of the squad...ker ching I say good luck to the kid but thanks for the money
I agree on the one level, but on the other no bugger was ever going to play him here it seems anyway.I think it's very disappointing personally. oh god !Turnball only had til end of July to leave doesn't the otherwise he's ours
I hear everyone's bubbling question, "Robo, how many players are left from the class of 14/15 that progressed from the academy?"
Well...
Maddison - Gone
Lawton - Gone
Finch - Gone
Harries - Gone
Dion Kelly-Evans - Still on the books
Devon Kelly-Evans - Still on the books
Thomas - Out of contract
Stevenson - Still on the books
Spence - Gone
One of the most promising U18's teams I have watched for CCFC and most never really got a big chance in the first team, other than a few..
And then if he leaves we only have 7 days til 1st game of the season to find a replacementTurnball only had til end of July to leave doesn't the otherwise he's ours
Eh!
That's only 9 players..... What happened to the rest of the 'squad'.
As with all these things some footballers make it and some don't.
Football full of tales of players who have come back after being rejected or sold.
Be interesting to actually name the whole of that 14/15 squad and see what's happened to them.
PUSB SOTV IMCH NOAM (Not One Acronym More)
I agree he wouldn’t have been much use to us in League 2, and £250K seems a reasonable starting fee. But if the add-ons are capped at £1m it’s not enough IMO. Do we get a percentage of future sale? The lad has got fantastic talent and as he matures and gains strength he could be as good as John Stones, who’s now worth a silly amount of money.
Apologies, allow me to complete the list;
Jake Richard (GK) - Released
Corey Addai - Still at CCFC
Jacob Whitmore - Released
Callum Maycock - Still at CCFC
Bassala Sambou - Gone
Luke Bromley - Released
Jordan Shipley - Still at CCFC
Reece Ford - Still at CCFC
Dan Smith - Released
