Isn't that Rugby? Now we are really getting confused.I'm not aware. I think we are a premiership club.
At least we have the answer to my original post. Good luck lad.
Soccerbase reckons he made 15 starts for us last year in all competitions, does that sound right? Seems a bit low to me....
Cian Harries: Swansea City to sign Wales youngster from Coventry City
Why only a 'small fee'? How small!?
He's under contract!

Would guess it will be appearance related. First team games, international appearances etc.
Small initial fee and then add ons as he progresses through the ranks.
Promising youngsters will continue to fund the sisu business a million here, half a million there until we are rid of the cancer that is sisu any youth player with any potentialwill sold off Being a fourth division outfit it's unstoppable but the annoying thing to me is they are sold off cheaply and very little of any fee is realistically put back towards the team hence now being in the fourth division

Don't really know what to make of this one. From his POV, he may as well sit in their reserves as our reserves!
It's seems managers have been unwilling to trust him for whatever reason, anyway. When he got games last season it was as much because we never got round to signing anybody. But he'll be earning a hell of a lot more money NW. (I agree with you btw but not many players turn down money ahead of a career)
I am presuming his head has been turned a while ago and that's why he's not been included in MR plans.
TBH he's not ready for first team and may well only bloom in 5 years when he fills into his 'man body'....
PUSB SOTV IMCH NOAM (Not One Acronym More)
i think simply he's not ready defensively yet but defenders who can pass are still a rare commodity (see the ridiculous hype and price around John Stones). It's again very indicative of the modern game both financially and from a technical standard. A few hundred thousand on a young player is extremely low risk to see if he fills out and can hone the defensive side of his game to match his ball playing ability over a couple of seasons. If he can sort that out then their low risk gamble has a potentially high reward. It's seems managers have been unwilling to trust him for whatever reason, anyway. When he got games last season it was as much because we never got round to signing anybody.
So regardless of money, not much point from his perspective in staying. Can't even throw the 'season of first team football' at him.

You have you view. But he will get kicked to fuck by cloggers in L2That, to be fair, is absolute horse shit. If he applied himself, he could play at any level. That's like saying Pele wouldn't score goals in the Sunday League. He's chasing the pound notes, because his agent tells him he's better than he actually is. He will fail, and will have a career languishing in the lower leagues.... ie he should grow a pair and stay where he is.
absolutely correct. Sisu owned feeder clubPromising youngsters will continue to fund the sisu business a million here, half a million there until we are rid of the cancer that is sisu any youth player with any potentialwill sold off Being a fourth division outfit it's unstoppable but the annoying thing to me is they are sold off cheaply and very little of any fee is realistically put back towards the team hence now being in the fourth division
I'm not disagreeing with you, just that he is a wasted talent in a shit league. The lower leagues really aren't these land of bruising giants that people seem to make out. The technique is worse and the facilities are smaller, and that's about it. Harries isn't some lightweight midget. If he's good enough for Swansea to take an interest, he's good enough to do alright away at Forest Green Rovers.
Lower league clubs always sell players and once higher league clubs such as Swansea, Bournemouth or Burton Albion for that matter it's almost impossible to prevent them from leaving, I stand by the fact very little of the millions brought in from player sales recently has been spent on the team hence division 4. As for funding the running CCFC player sales has always done that going back years, but now we are "cash flow positive" according to our chairman I hope perhaps even expect once the sales of Harries, Ben Stevenson, George Thomas and Jordan Willis are completed a decent chunk of the received fees are spent on the team. You mean they will continue to fund CCFC? Lower League club in selling players to survive shocker.

very unlikely. You are expecting Sisu to change their spending plans. Imo, they are content to run the club as a feeder club and not bothered if we hover at this level. It allows the club to be run on the cheap.Lower league clubs always sell players and once higher league clubs such as Swansea, Bournemouth or Burton Albion for that matter it's almost impossible to prevent them from leaving, I stand by the fact very little of the millions brought in from player sales recently has been spent on the team hence division 4.
