Hartlepools United vs Coventry City, FA Cup, 1934 (1 Viewer)

Hi there, Hartlepool fan here.

For the last few years I have been developing a database/website centred on my own club. As part of that I have had to gather up opposition lineups and goalscorers for more than 4000 matches. I'm almost there, having pretty much nailed all of the Football League games, and I'm just hoovering up the last remaining odds and sods.

Pools and Coventry have met just seven times over the years and I have the required information on six of those matches. I am missing the Coventry lineup and scorers from the FA Cup tie played at our place on 8th December 1934, a game that finished in a resounding 4-0 win for the Sky Blues. If anybody is able to supply this information it would be much appreciated.

john, the coventry lineup was morgan, brown, bisby, frith, mason, boileau, birtley, wilson, bourton, jones, liddle. bourton scored 2 with jones & liddle also scoring in a 4-0 win for coventry. the crowd was 13,054 on december 8. hope this helps and will have a look at your stats later.
