Needs to go today. The worst manager in our history and thats saying something.
Will make a mockery of the wembley game if he leads the team out having took us in to division 4
Clueless, no tactical awareness, lost the dressing room and worst than Thorne

I would rather see Eaden take the job until the end of the season while we try to lure a bright new manager to their doom for next season. No to Venus (sack him) or Ricketts, thanks.

Unfortunately I cannot see RS going today - I think he will be in charge for the Shrewsbury game at least. But if this continues, him being in charge at Wembley will be farcical.

I did a bit more statto analysis this morning, just comparing league records:
Thorn P59 W12 D21 L26 win ratio 20.3%
Slade P12 W1 D3 L9 win ration 8.3%

So he is more than twice as ineffective as the previous manager held up by many as the benchmark of failure. Mitigating circumstances in both cases but I expect RS may become the new benchmark if he stays on much longer.

If we fail to win Saturday and Russell Slade is still in charge for the next home game v Bradford City it could be very interesting. He better grow another couple of layers of skin !!

I understand the sentiments expressed here, and he should certainly be replaced for next season, but I think the focus of our anger should be Fisher, he is the constant in our declining fortunes, and he is the one I would like to see squirming, Slade can wait.

Might be Venus back in temporary charge Wouldn`t surprise me. His record is better than Slades

I think this is the only reason he hasn't, or won't be going anytime soon. There's always been someone willing to step in on a caretaker basis, I can't imagine there's anyone at the club will involve to do that now. Venus looked/sounded like he was on the verge of a breakdown during his last few interviews. I'd imagine Oggy would tell them to do one too. Maybe Fisher will have a go after all!!!

I doubt they will do that again - it all turned very sour and no doubt both TF and MV will be reluctant to go there again. Rumour has it that MV has been off work, other than making appearances at games, with stress, make of that what you will.

Some guys on this forum recommended Slade, trouble is Fisher seen it and took him on...if my theory works im recommending Roy Hudd so if he gets the job ..im right
I mentioned Slade at the time but I'm sure Timmy doesn't take note of what I say.

I agree with that post apart from Slade can wait, he needs to go ASAP.
I doubt very much tim will go but he should, he's a disaster.

To be fair to Tim he said "judge us after January" he didn't say which year. It might be the January after his new stadium opens....

Slade is not going anywhere until he gets to wembley, im hoping jason farndon takes over he is a good coach we have nothing to lose and he knows the the club inside out and he has not been involved in this mess this season so give him a go.
